Hi,
Love.
If you're listening to this,
You're probably lying awake.
Again.
And I'm really glad you pressed play.
Because you don't have to be alone with this.
Let's take the pressure off right away.
This is not a track you need to stay awake for.
You don't need to listen carefully.
You don't need to do anything perfectly.
Just let my voice keep you company while your body slowly shifts into rest.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And exhale through your mouth,
Like a sigh.
Let your shoulders draw.
Let your jaw loosen a little.
Let your belly soften beneath your breath.
And if you can't relax yet,
That's okay.
Truly.
Your body isn't doing anything wrong.
It's just holding on to the day.
I want you to imagine that all the effort,
The trying,
The frustration,
The thoughts about why can't I sleep,
Is like a tight fist inside your chest.
You don't have to open the fist.
Just notice that it's there.
And now imagine placing that fist into warm water.
You're not forcing it open.
You're just letting the warmth soften the edges around it.
Your breath is that warmth.
Slow,
Steady,
Gentle.
Every breath tells your nervous system there's nothing to fix right now.
You're safe.
Feel the weight of your head on the pillow.
Feel the heaviness of your arms.
Feel the blankets resting over you,
Like a soft,
Quiet hug.
You don't need to chase sleep.
You just need to be here.
Your body knows how to rest.
It remembers.
It just needs a moment to come back.
Let your breath drop a little deeper into your belly.
Let your rib cage widen softly with each inhale.
Let everything inside you slow down by one small notch.
Thoughts may still be moving.
That's okay.
Thoughts don't stop just because it's night.
Imagine your thoughts like birds on a wire.
They can land.
They can fly away.
They can come back.
You don't have to chase any of them.
Just breathe.
Just be here.
Bring your attention to your forehead.
Smooth it out just a little.
Relax your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Your mouth.
Let your tongue rest heavy in your mouth.
Relax the back of your neck,
Your shoulders.
Let them sink into the bed.
Feel the heaviness move down your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingertips.
Breathe into your chest,
Your belly,
Your hips.
Relax your legs,
Calves,
Feet.
Feel the entire weight of your body being held.
Nothing to lift.
Nothing to hold.
You're safe to sink.
Safe to rest.
Safe to let go.
Now imagine a dim light inside your chest.
Warm,
Steady,
Calming.
With each breath,
The light grows softer and softer and softer.
Like a candle gently flickering as the night deepens around it.
With every exhale,
Your body sinks a little more into the mattress.
Your breath slows.
Your mind softens.
If sleep comes now,
Let it take you.
If not,
Just rest.
Rest is enough.
You are enough.
You don't need to say goodnight to me.
I'll stay here with you until you drift off.
And if you ever want more support for calm,
Balance,
And tiny habits that help you feel safe in your own life,
You can always come back to my other tracks or my courses.
But for now,
Breathe,
Rest,
And let sleep find you in its own time.
Good night love.
