So begin by finding yourself in a comfortable seated position and taking your cup of cacao and holding it in your hands.
Feeling its warmth and presence and as we prepare to connect deeply with the spirit of cacao take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
Letting go of any distractions with every exhale and bringing in a sense of calm relaxation as you inhale.
Holding your cup of ceremonial cacao with reverence over your heart space and with each breath begin to bring focus towards an intention for your ceremony.
Taking a moment to set your intention or your sankalpa,
A deep resolve for your practice.
Perhaps you seek to open your heart,

And we can invite any other angels or ancestors,
Spirit guides,
