Welcome to your five-minute self-care meditation.

Begin by finding a comfortable position.

Maybe you're sitting on a chair or on the floor on a cushion.

Wherever you are,

Just close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling your lungs expand as that life force energy enters your body and slowly exhale,

Releasing any tension.

Focus on your breath as you inhale deeply through your nose,

Allowing your abdomen to rise.

Exhale slowly through your mouth,

Letting go of any stress or worries and continue this deep rhythmic breathing,

Bringing your attention fully to the present moment.

Noticing the coolness of the air on your nostrils as you inhale,

And the warmth releasing from your mouth as you exhale.

And gently shift your focus to the top of your head,

Slowly scanning your body,

Moving your attention down through your body,

Noticing any areas of tension or discomfort.

And as you find these areas,

Just breathe into them.

Allow your breath to bring relaxation and ease to these areas.

And continue scanning down all the way to your toes,

Releasing the tension with every exhale.

You might like to visualize any tension melting away from your body.

And then take one hand and place it on your heart,

And the other on your abdomen.

Feel the warmth and connection here as we center into our heart space.

With each breath,

Imagine a soft,

Warm light radiating from your heart.

And that warm light is spreading love throughout your entire body as you visualize this light and warmth slowly surrounding your entire being.

Allow yourself to be a part of this light.

Slowly surrounding your entire being.

Allow yourself to be enveloped in this loving energy.

And as you sit in the space of love,

Just silently repeat these affirmations to yourself.

I am worthy of love and care.

I honor my body and my mind.

I am at peace with myself.

I am enough just as I am.

I am love and am loved.

And feel the truth of these words resonate within you.

And just now reflect on something that you are grateful for today.

This can be simple or something more significant.

And as you think of this,

Allow a sense of gratitude to fill your heart.

Smiling gently and embrace this feeling of thankfulness.

Take one more deep breath in.

And slowly exhale.

And when you feel ready,

Just let go of everything that's holding you back.

Gently open your eyes,

Bringing this sense of calm and self-love into the rest of your day.
