Hello and welcome,

My name is Laura and I am from Holy Cacao and today I wanted to introduce to you something very special,

Something that I love very much as well as many people around the world and that is ceremonial cacao.

So imagine yourself sitting down with this beautiful heart opening cup of elixir,

It is warm and rich and it is a drink with ancient roots that has been used for centuries as a powerful heart opener,

A mood lifter and a bridge to deeper self connection.

So a lot of people have asked me what is so unique about ceremonial cacao or what is the difference between ceremonial cacao and normal cacao.

Well it is made from pure cacao beans that are minimally processed,

This means that it's keeping all of the natural oils and nutrients intact so unlike regular chocolate,

Ceremonial cacao isn't sweetened,

It isn't altered with additives,

It doesn't have anything taken out of it,

Instead it is raw and full of life,

Full of life force which brings with it a unique earthly,

Full body,

Really beautifully bold and grounding energy taste.

Cacao is rich in antioxidants,

Magnesium and iron and beyond the physical nourishment it is packed with a natural compound which is called theobromine and this is known as the heart expander and theobromine gently stimulates us,

Similar to caffeine but without the jittery effects that caffeine can bring,

It helps us to lift our mood and create a sense of warmth and wellbeing like having a big hug but from the inside out.

It's not just about the chemistry,

It is also about the spirit of cacao.

So cacao ceremonies were part of ancient Mayan and Aztec traditions where it was revered as a sacred medicine and in these ceremonies cacao wasn't just a drink but a way to open the heart,

To set intentions and to tune into a sense of love and deepen your connection with yourself and to deepen your connection with those around you and to deepen your connection with the world and spirit.

And today people still use ceremonial cacao as a tool for self-reflection,

For emotional release and also for healing.

So if you have cacao and as you sip on your cacao you may find it easier to feel gratitude,

To find compassion or clarity,

It also helps you to find healing and forgiveness and it's like the cacao gently invites you to slow down,

It invites you to breathe and to connect,

Whether to connect to yourself or others or again something greater like spirit,

It is the medicine or the bridge to help you get there.

So the next time you have a cup,

Take a moment to savour it,

To feel its warmth spreading through your body and notice how it begins to really ground you,

To open you and nourish you on a deeper level because that is the magic of ceremonial cacao.

If you'd like to know more about ceremonial cacao or you would like to go deeper with this incredible plant medicine,

Then I have a 10-day ceremonial cacao immersion on Insight Timer and that is a really beautiful way for you to practice coming into your space to learn more about cacao and to learn more about yourself and to really open yourself up from your heart space and find a deeper connection within.

Thank you for listening,

I hope that you can take something away that you didn't already know about ceremonial cacao and if you did,

I hope that it was just a beautiful reminder about how incredible this plant medicine is.

Have a wonderful day,

Namaste.
