A welcome to this morning gratitude meditation.
I invite you to close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
A long,
Slow breath out.
And once more in.
And away.
And bring your hands together,
Rub to create warmth.
And place your hand at your heart center,
At the center of the chest.
Feeling the warmth of your hand.
And feeling grateful for this warmth.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine that warmth traveling all the way down to the toes.
The feet.
And to the legs.
And thanking your legs and your feet for taking you all these different places over the years.
Take another deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine that warmth traveling across the shoulders down to the arms,
Hands,
Fingers,
And thumbs.
Feeling gratitude for your arms for their ability to embrace.
And your hands for their creativity.
Take another deep breath in.
And breathe out,
Allowing that warmth to travel down to your digestive system.
And thanking your digestive system for breaking down foods and working hard for you.
Take another deep breath in.
And this time,
Allow that breath to remain in the heart area.
And feeling gratitude for your heart.
Your spiritual heart.
But also your physical heart.
That heartbeat which has been with you before you entered the world.
Your heart is always here,
Beating for you,
Without needing anything in return.
Thank you,
Heart.
Feeling gratitude for your entire body.
And knowing that the more you practice gratitude,
The more it helps to improve your body.
And your well-being.
So if you wish,
You can make this a daily practice.
Thank you for listening.
My name is Sandhya.
Have a wonderful day.
