Allow your eyes to comfortably close.

Welcome to this morning meditation.

And take this moment to pause.

There's nothing to do.

Nowhere to be.

There's just this breath.

Take some deep breaths in and out.

And with each breath in,

Feel your lungs completely.

And with every breath out,

Softening through the body.

And as you soften,

Release anything you've been holding on to.

And feel the body relax.

As if a gentle warmth is washing over you.

If you wish,

Place your hand now on your heart center and allow your breath to return to its usual pace.

The heart center is at the center of the chest,

In alignment with your armpits.

Bring a gentle,

Soft smile to your face.

And bring to mind something that brings you joy.

Maybe it's the sound of laughter.

The beauty of the morning sky.

Or simply the quiet peace of this moment.

Allow that feeling to settle within you.

Feeling its warmth embrace you.

And with each breath that you take naturally in and out,

Relax and let go.

And imagine a golden light at the heart center.

And this golden light carries that feeling of joy within you.

And allow that feeling to spread throughout the chest.

Spread throughout the torso.

Spreading to your neck and head.

And down the arms,

Creating a sense of peace within.

And allow that light to spread down to the legs,

To the knees.

Knowing you are enough and you are worthy of joy.

And down to the ankles,

Feet and toes as you step into this day with lightness and ease.

The sun awakens golden and bright.

Bringing warmth,

Bringing light.

Today is afresh.

A canvas wide with endless joy and love inside.

There's no need to chase,

No need to race.

Joy arrives at its own pace.

With your heart open wide.

With your steady mind.

Leave your worries far behind.

A smile blooms so light and free.

Happiness is here within me.

Now beginning to move.

Fingers and toes.

Stretching,

Moving.

Reawakening.

And gradually opening your eyes.
