Welcome,
This ADHD self-worth meditation is for you if you spent your life feeling that you're not good enough,
Not smart enough or felt different from others.
Find yourself a position of comfort and ease,
Seated or lying.
Be aware of your body and notice the sensations of the body touching the surface beneath you.
Feeling supported and held.
Move the body to be as comfortable as you can.
Just be here right now,
In this moment,
As you bring your awareness to the sounds around you.
Notice what you can hear and focus on your breath.
Notice how the breath moves in and out.
Place your hand if you wish to join me over your heart center at the center of the chest.
Take a moment to acknowledge how hard it's been navigating life with ADHD.
The weight of feeling not good enough is real and it can be exhausting.
And if it feels right,
Rub in slow soothing circles.
Notice if you can feel your heartbeat,
The steady rhythm keeping you going.
This is your body reminding you that you are here and you matter.
You are here and you matter.
I invite you to repeat after me.
I am worthy of peace.
I am worthy of peace.
I choose to be kind to myself.
I choose to be kind to myself.
And accept myself just as I am.
And accept myself just as I am.
And it's okay if your mind wanders.
This is common for many people,
Particularly those with ADHD.
And when you notice your mind wandering,
Be patient and kind to yourself.
Bring your focus back to my voice.
And if you haven't already,
You may just want to just rest your hand now at your heart center.
Feeling the warmth of the hand and bringing a smile to your face.
As I invite you to repeat again,
I am worthy of peace.
I am worthy of peace.
I choose to be kind to myself.
I choose to be kind to myself.
I accept myself just as I am.
I accept myself just as I am.
If you deserve the same kindness you would give a close friend who is struggling with self-doubt,
Offer yourself that same loving kindness.
You are not alone in this.
I am here with you.
It's very common for individuals with ADHD to struggle with feelings of inadequacy.
Even if some people seem to have it all together,
You never know what's going on inside their minds.
You are doing the best you can.
You are worthy of peace.
You are worthy of peace.
You are worthy of peace.
May you be kind to yourself and accept yourself just as you are.
May you be kind to yourself and accept yourself just as you are.
I am here with you.
You are not alone.
Giving thanks to yourself for showing up today and offering yourself the kindness and compassion you deserve.
Remember you are doing the best you can.
May you receive peace and may you accept yourself just as you are.
Thank you for being here with me today.
