Take a slow easy breath in and exhale with a long quiet release,

Letting the day melt away,

With each breath feel yourself arriving in a space of absolute safety,

A place where you are held,

Protected and cared for,

Imagine a warm gentle presence surrounding you,

Like a soft blanket of comfort,

This presence asks nothing of you,

It simply holds you exactly as you are,

Breathe in and with the exhale let your whole body rest a little deeper,

Let the arms,

Legs rest heavily,

Head rest deeply into the pillow,

Your hips,

Belly,

Chest and back sinking into the mattress as you breathe,

Now bring your awareness to your heart area,

Imagine a soft glow there,

Exhale as warm light grows a little brighter,
