
Pineal-Thymus Activation
The purpose of this practice is to infuse your body and brain with light for health and optimal function, as well as to cultivate a felt sense of Oneness with Light as the Source of your Being. We begin by focusing on and breathing light through the eyes, pineal gland, and thymus gland. Then we feel light infusing the whole body and the Infinite Field, before resting as the Awareness within which all of this arises.

Pineal Thymus Activation The purpose of this practice is to infuse your body and brain with light for health and optimal function,
As well as to cultivate a felt sense of oneness with light as the source of your being.
We're going to do this by cultivating light in two senses,
Light as in bright shining radiance like the light of the sun,
And light as in feeling lighter,
Lighthearted,
Joyful.
We're going to blend both senses of light because each brings a different quality to our experience and has different effects in our body and our consciousness.
In this practice,
We'll highlight three locations in the body.
First,
The eyes,
As a place where light shines in for your sight and vision.
These light signals travel back into the center of your brain,
Affecting receptors in your pineal gland.
The second location we'll focus on,
Which regulates your sleep and wakefulness cycles.
The pineal gland also receives spiritual light that enters in through the crown chakra at the top of your head.
So this gland is a potent receptor for the transmission of light physically and spiritually.
The third location we'll focus on is the thymus gland,
Located in your upper chest,
Just under the upper sternum.
The thymus gland serves the physiological function of training immune cells,
T-cells,
Which circulate out from there throughout your body into all your organs and cells.
Like the pineal gland,
The thymus gland also serves a spiritual function.
The ancient Greeks called it the seat of the soul,
And you may have heard it described as the high heart as well.
In this role,
The thymus gland connects you to higher wisdom and intuitive guidance.
To prepare for this practice,
You can tap or rub the upper sternum.
Right in the center of your upper chest to awaken a felt sense of this area.
So go ahead and tap or rub your upper sternum with your fingertips.
Now,
Place your left hand over your thymus and feel into the energy here.
You might feel a tingling aliveness,
Warmth,
Or a sense of awake presence here.
Take a moment to check in with your thymus gland and thank it for all it does to support your health,
Immune function,
And intuitive wisdom.
Now,
Cup your hands in your lap with the tips of your thumbs touching lightly in an open,
Receptive posture.
Rest your feet firmly on the ground and sit nicely upright.
If you haven't already,
You can lightly close your eyes.
Take a moment to tune in inside and allow yourself to settle in your seat and be present inside your body.
Notice anything that is present in your awareness,
Anything you are carrying with you into this practice.
There might be lingering thoughts or emotions from your day.
You don't need to stop or change any of that.
Just notice whatever is present and allow yourself to be just as you are.
As we go through this meditation,
See if it's possible to allow it to progress for you just the way it does,
Letting yourself be and allowing it to unfold.
Now,
Feel out into the space all around you as a sacred space,
A safe space that embraces you.
Notice how your body begins to relax as you sit in this safe,
Sacred space.
Consider your intention for this practice.
Why is it important to you?
Consider that the effect of this practice extends to all your loved ones,
To everyone you interact with,
And even more widely and invisibly to all beings,
Our whole planet and throughout our collective consciousness and all that is.
You are part of a greater whole,
And your state of consciousness contributes to the whole.
So consider dedicating this practice to the well-being of all beings,
That we might all come to know ourselves as beings of light and feel a sense of lightness and joy in our shared being,
The one life we all share.
Now,
Focus down into feeling the contact of the soles of your feet on the ground and allow your feet and your toes to soften and relax as if they are melting deep down into the earth.
Feel the solid support and grounding presence of the earth flowing up through your feet,
Up through your shins and calves,
Up through your knees and thighs,
Into your hips and your pelvic bone,
Resting down in your seat.
Feel the weight of your body resting down in your pelvic bowl,
Resting down in your seat,
Resting down on the earth.
Focus into your palms and fingers resting cupped in your lap and allow your hands to soften and relax as if they are melting down into your legs.
Feel the soft openness in your hands connected to the soft openness in your heart and the soft openness in your thymus gland.
As your hands soften and relax,
Allow your arms and shoulders to relax down,
Releasing any tension in your shoulders,
Your neck and your head.
Imagine and feel as if a string is attached to the top of your head,
Drawing your spine gently upright like a string of luminous pearls.
Feel your spine gently stretched from your perineum and tailbone right up through the top of your head like a stream of light flowing upwards up through the top of your head and opening to the vast sky above.
Tuck your chin just slightly,
Gently lengthening the back of your neck.
Lightly close your lips and breathe in and out through your nose.
Nasal breathing warms and purifies the air as it comes in,
Increases oxygenation and is calming to your nervous system.
Rest your tongue up on the roof of your mouth with the tip of your tongue touching the gum line behind your upper front teeth.
Soften and relax your tongue here.
Soften your tongue even more and feel the connection of your tongue all the way back to the center of your brain,
To your brain stem,
The origin of your vagus nerve.
Softening your tongue sends a relaxation signal to your vagus nerve in your brain stem.
Feel the relaxed aliveness in your brain stem right in the center of your brain.
As you feel that relaxation in the center of your brain,
Smile,
A subtle smile of calm happiness,
Of lightness and joy.
Allow the feeling of lightness and joy to shine out through your eyes.
Feel that soft,
Sparkling energy lighting up your eyes and your forehead.
Feel light and lightness shining in through your eyes and your forehead,
Shining through to the center of your brain,
Your brain stem and your pineal gland,
Which is on the upper rear side of your brain stem,
In the center of your brain.
Feel your pineal gland light up with soft,
Sparkling energy like a liquid crystal.
To cultivate the feeling of energy and light here,
As you breathe in through your nose,
Feel the energy in the air flowing in through your upper nasal passages into the center of your brain,
Into your brain stem,
And into your pineal gland.
Then breathe out through the center of your brain to focus the energy here.
Feel the energy in your breath feeding the light in your pineal gland so it glows brightly with lightness and joy.
Draw deep in-breaths in through your upper nasal passages and feel the energy saturating the center of your brain.
Now feel energy flowing in and down through your crown,
Joining the light in the center of your brain and amplifying the spiritual force of this energy.
Feel this light shining down into the center of your brain,
Into your pineal gland.
So now you have light shining in through your eyes and forehead,
Together with the light shining down through your crown,
Converging in the center of your brain.
Feel this light radiating from your pineal gland out through your whole brain,
Lighting up your whole brain.
Lighting up the left and right sides of your forehead,
The left and right sides of your brain,
The temporal lobes.
Lighting up the parietal lobes in the top,
Center,
Rear of your brain.
Lighting up the left and right back of your brain,
The occipital lobes,
And through the cerebellum at the base of your skull.
Notice anywhere that feels dark,
Tense,
Or cloudy in your brain and allow the light to flow there gently and easily.
Feel your whole brain lit up,
Infused with soft,
Sparkling energy.
This light is activating new neural pathways,
New connections throughout your whole brain,
Cleaning any plaque,
Releasing any stored tension,
And creating new connections.
Feel this light flowing out through your eyes,
Ears,
Nose,
Your mouth,
Teeth,
And tongue.
Now allow this light to flow from the center of your brain down through your spinal cord,
Down through your neck,
And down into your thymus gland in your central upper chest,
Just underneath your upper sternum.
Breathe in and feel the light flow gently from the center of your brain down to your thymus gland,
And then breathe out through your thymus gland,
Focusing the energy here.
Breathe in,
Drawing the energy down to the thymus,
And breathe out through your thymus.
One more time.
Breathe in,
Drawing the energy down to your thymus,
And breathe out through your thymus.
Now breathe in and out through your thymus gland with a feeling of lightness and joy to build the energy here.
Feel the energy of your thymus gland lighting up,
Fed by your attention,
Breath,
And the feeling of light and lightness.
Smile into your thymus gland.
Feel the energy glowing here,
Your thymus gland glowing with light,
With lightness,
Brightness,
And joy.
Feel this light radiating outward,
Flowing out from your thymus in all directions through these wonderful T-cells,
Flowing out through all your cells and organs.
Feel this light flowing out through your shoulders arms and hands,
Through your chest and upper back,
Through your heart where the light becomes ruby red,
Through your lungs where the light becomes pearl white,
Through your liver at the front base of your ribs on the right side,
Where the light becomes emerald green,
Through your kidneys at the base of your ribs on both sides of your spine and back,
Where the light becomes sapphire blue,
Through your spleen and pancreas on the front left side at the base of your ribs,
Just to the left and behind your stomach,
Where the light becomes solar yellow,
Through your stomach and intestines,
Where the light becomes citrus orange.
Feel this light flowing from your thymus gland to your whole torso,
Down into your hips,
Your legs and feet.
This energy,
This lightness and joy fills your whole body at once as it radiates from your thymus gland.
Smile into every cell.
Feel every cell smiling with pure,
Positive energy.
Lightness and joy.
Notice if there is anywhere in your body that feels dark,
Tense or cloudy,
And allow the light to flow through these areas as well,
Naturally,
Gently.
Feel your body as a whole,
Infused with lightness and joy,
All the way out through the pores of your skin.
Allow this light to radiate out through the pores of your skin into the space all around you.
Feel as if your skin dissolves and there's light shining brightly inside and all around,
Shining through the whole space.
Feel as if the walls of your room dissolve and this light shines out from your thymus gland infinitely in all directions,
Infinitely out in front of you.
Farther and farther.
From your thymus gland infinitely behind you.
Farther and farther.
Infinitely out to the left.
Shining brightly farther and farther.
And infinitely out to the right.
As far as it can go and farther still.
Shining brightly.
The light shines infinitely above you.
Higher and higher.
The light shines infinitely below you.
Deeper and deeper.
Sense out to the edges of this infinite field of light.
And beyond that.
And beyond that.
Boundless lightness and joy.
No edges.
No inside,
No outside.
An infinite field of light without beginning or end.
Boundless light.
Lightness and joy without beginning or end.
Shining brightly.
Soft,
Sparkling energy.
Rest as the light.
Pure joy.
Pure love.
All embracing oneness.
Smiling and shining brightly.
Now let go of that.
And rest as awareness itself.
That within which the infinite field arises and appears.
Rest as awareness itself.
Now feel the infinite field of light arising again within awareness.
And feel the space of your body arising as an expression of this light.
Your body is an energetic template of light.
Inseparably one with the light.
Your body is a light form.
A space where light shines.
In a unique refraction.
Adding color to the light of the whole.
Feel your whole body at once.
And notice how you feel.

Record this word,
Phrase or image together with this feeling in your body in every cell.
So you remember it.
Share it wherever you go.
Bring lightness and joy to every interaction.
And can return to knowing and feeling oneness with the light that you are.

Feel the light shining down through your crown.
And in through your eyes.
Into the pineal gland in the center of your brain.
Feel the light flowing down through your thymus gland.
And out through your whole body.
Out through your shoulders,
Arms and hands.
Your torso and abdomen.
Down through your legs and feet.
Feel your feet firmly on the ground.
Fully present.
Here.
Now.
Slowly open your eyes.
And feel the lightness inside and all around.
Take this feeling with you into your day.
And share it wherever you go.
See the light in all beings.
In everyone you meet.
