This is a wonderful simple practice to release stress and feel a sense of relaxed alive presence and positive energy anywhere, anytime. The practice begins with sensing the space inside your body and noticing sensations and tensions. Then you're guided into inner smiling, breathing, and humming through all your cells, feeling the vibrations relaxing and releasing tensions and opening a feeling of positive presence and vitality.

This is a wonderful,

Simple practice to release stress and feel a sense of a relaxed,

Alive presence and positive energy anywhere,

Anytime.

To begin,

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.

Rest your hands cupped in your lap or resting on your lower abdomen if you're lying down.

Lightly close your eyes.

Feel your body as a whole from the inside.

Feel the entire space inside and including your skin.

Notice any inner sensations that draw your attention.

Notice any areas of tension.

Allow your whole body to soften.

If it's possible to do so comfortably,

Breathe in and out through your nose only.

If your nose is congested or you have any difficulty nasal breathing,

You can breathe through your nose and mouth.

Either way,

Pay attention to feeling the sensations of breathing inside your body.

This will help you come into the present moment and focus inside.

Notice where you feel the sensations of breathing most prominently.

Now,

Let's move into inner humming.

Breathe in through your nose,

Smile,

And hum as you exhale.

Notice where the sensations of humming seem to originate in your body and see if it's possible to feel the vibrations flowing out through your whole body.

If you have any area of tension,

You can focus on feeling the humming vibrations through this area.

Continue at whatever pace feels good to you.

Smile as you appreciate and soak in the good feelings of humming through every cell.

Slowly open your eyes and take in the feeling of the space all around,

Together with the feeling of the space inside,

As one space of alive presence and positive energy.

Smile,

Breathe,

And hum with your eyes open.

Take this relaxed,

Positive feeling with you and practice inner humming whenever you need to refresh the feeling.
