Mindful relaxation To begin,

Prepare for meditation by finding a quiet,

Private environment,

Turning off the volume on your phone and letting anyone who needs to know that you are taking some quiet time.

Sit comfortably upright on a seat that places your hips level with or slightly above your knees.

Rest your hands in your lap or on your legs.

Lightly close your eyes.

Imagine a string attached to the top of your head.

Drawing your spine gently upright.

Tuck your chin just slightly to gently lengthen the back of your neck.
