Welcome to this guided visualization meditation,
The Library of Light.
Please find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
Allow your hands to rest easily.
If it feels right,
You may gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath through your nose and a long breath out through your mouth.
One more time,
Slow breath in through your nose and a long breath out through your mouth.
And once more,
Slow breath in through the nose and a long breath out through your mouth.
There is nothing you need to do right now and nowhere you need to go.
Allow yourself to just be here.
Imagine yourself standing at the base of a wide,
Beautiful staircase.
The steps rise gently upwards,
Disappearing into a soft,
Glowing white cloud above you.
The sky around you is calm and open,
Filled with light.
You feel safe and supported and begin to walk up the staircase,
One step at a time.
With every step you take,
Your body begins to feel lighter.
Your mind quieter and any tension of the day gently falls away.
As you climb higher,
The clouds part,
Opening into a peaceful space above the sky.
At the top of the staircase,
You arrive at a majestic library,
A vast and calm space filled with warm light.
You see tall shelves stretch endlessly,
The shelves holding sacred records and books containing wisdom,
Insight and understanding.
Although you haven't been here before,
You feel that this place is familiar and that you belong here.
Take a moment to notice how the space feels around you.
Serene,
With no rush.
When you are ready,
Allow yourself to walk through the library.
Trust that one book will gently draw your attention.
Trust your intuition.
Reach out and take this book.
Feel its weight in your hands.
This book is meant for you in this moment.
Find a comfortable place to sit or stand.
And when you are ready,
Slowly open the book.
As you open it,
A soft white light begins to flow out from the pages.
The light is warm,
Calm and loving.
It gently moves towards you,
Entering through your hands,
Into your chest and gently spreading through your entire being.
You do not need to control it.
Just allow it.
This is the light of unconditional love.
Pure and steady.
And it feels warm,
Filling every part of you,
In your heart,
Your breath,
Into every cell of your body.
You may notice a sense of peace,
Warmth or deep comfort wash over you.
The light of protection,
Guidance and clarity allows you to feel safe here.
To feel supported and connected to Source.
Stay here for a few moments and allow yourself to absorb this light.
Let it revitalize you.
Let it awaken a sense of calm,
Strength.
If your mind wanders,
Gently return your attention to the feeling of love flowing through you.
When it feels right,
Imagine the light slowly settling within you and becoming part of you.
You may visualize a light wrapping your being and being absorbed into the skin,
The bones,
The muscles and every cell in your body.
Visualize the book gently closing.
Your being continues to glow as you place the book back,
Knowing that you can return whenever you need.
Slowly begin to leave the library,
But know that you are carrying this feeling of love and connection with you.
You walk gently back down the staircase,
Step by step,
Bringing the calm with you,
Feeling safe,
Supported and connected.
Begin to notice your breath again,
The feeling of your body where you are.
When you are ready,
You may gently open your eyes and come back to the present.
Take a moment before moving,
Knowing you are grounded,
Revitalized and supported.
