Welcome to this guided Reiki sleep meditation.
Aim to relax your body and mind,
Allowing you to drift peacefully into restful sleep.
As you settle in for the night,
Try to get your body into a comfortable position,
Allowing yourself to let go of the day.
Notice your breath and gently guiding it.
Breathing in,
Slowly breathing out,
Letting go of any thoughts.
Breathing in,
And breathing out.
Know that you are safe,
Held,
And surrounded by peace.
As you rest here,
I would like to invite you to imagine yourself on a soft,
White sand beach.
The sun is beginning to set,
Casting pink and golden hues across the sky.
The light reflects off the crystal clear turquoise water,
Which gently laps against the shore.
Hear the gentle sound of the calming water,
Relaxing and peaceful.
The air is warm and soothing,
With a light breeze brushing across your skin like a soft embrace.
You can hear the distant call of birds as they fly above you,
Each one returning to their nest to settle in for the night.
Everything around you is winding down and becoming still.
Rest here and breathe into the safety and stillness of nature.
As you rest,
Gently imagine a soft,
Calming light descending from above.
This is Reiki energy,
Gentle,
Loving,
And wise.
In this moment,
Give it your permission to assist in restful sleep.
You may say silently to yourself,
I give Reiki permission to assist in my restful sleep.
The warm light begins hovering above your head and pouring softly down your face like warm sunlight,
Blowing over your scalp.
Down across your forehead.
Feel the tension in your brows melt away.
Feel your jaw unclenching.
Feel your neck softening.
The light continues to flow gently across your shoulders,
Allowing tension and tiredness to flow out.
Gently feel your shoulders drop into relaxation.
Breathing.
And feel the muscles in your shoulders on your head,
Face,
Neck,
Scalp,
And shoulders all releasing,
Letting go to the calming Reiki energy.
The Reiki light continues down your body.
Feel your arms bathed in this peaceful energy.
Your arms,
Elbows,
Hands,
And every knuckle on your finger softening into stillness.
Reiki energy,
Working to release any stiffness,
Repairing any strains or stress.
Gently,
It flows through your chest,
Bringing warmth to your heart and a sense of ease into your lungs.
Let your breath deepen slightly as if your body is sighing out in relief.
As it travels through your spine,
Vertebra by vertebra,
Feel it releasing every knot,
Every stored weight down your back and through your hips and into your thighs.
Feel the tension draining out from your muscles.
Your joints and even your bones.
Visualize part of your body glow as you rest into relaxation.
Reiki wraps around your knees and flows into your calves,
Soothing every fiber of your legs and down to your feet,
Each toe gently glowing with peace.
In this moment,
You are completely supported.
Your body is light and floating in comfort.
The white sand beneath you is soft and warm as if it's cradling you with kindness.
Hear the waves,
Rhythmic and calming,
A lullaby from the earth singing you to sleep.
Allow Reiki energy to gently clear your mind by imagining a cool,
Cleansing breeze sweeping through your thoughts,
Brushing away clutter,
The worries and noise,
Leaving behind stillness,
Spacious silence.
You have arrived in a place of deep rest.
The sky is now painted with twilight colors,
Soft purples and fading golds.
The last bird have returned to their nest and you too are returning,
Returning home to yourself.
Breathe into this peace.
And as you exhale,
Know that you can let go into safety,
To rest,
Into safety,
To sleep.
Let the Reiki energy continue its gentle work on your body and mind as you drift into relaxation.
And even as you drift deeper into sleep,
It will watch over you throughout the night and into the day ahead.
And there is nothing more you need to do.
Just rest and be held.
