Welcome to this guided visualization meditation where we're going to rest in the light of Source.
Find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.
Allow your body to be supported by whatever is beneath you.
Gently close your eyes and take a few slow breaths through your nose and a soft steady breath out through your mouth and again slow breath in through your nose and a steady breath out through your mouth.
Repeat this one more time.
Allow your body to relax and imagine yourself standing at the base of a set of white staircase.
The steps lead upwards disappearing into a soft glowing cloud above you.
In this space you feel calm and safe.
When you are ready begin to walk up the stairs one step at a time.
There is no rush.
With each step feel your body feeling lighter and your mind quieter.
As you rise the clouds begin to surround you with a soft warm and comforting feeling.
You move easily through them.
Beyond the clouds you arrive in a space filled with light.
This light surrounds your entire body.
It is warm,
Steady and deeply loving.
It is a feeling of unconditional love that flows all around you allowing you to feel close,
Connected whilst being held by source.
In this moment there is nothing you need to do but allow yourself to receive.
Gently imagine this light beginning to move through your body starting at the surface of your skin,
Soothing,
Calming,
Relaxing every layer.
The light moves deeper through the muscles softening and releasing its tension,
Flowing through to the nerves,
Bringing ease and calm through the veins,
Encouraging balance and flow.
The light continues deeper into the bones,
Steady,
Grounding and supportive and finally the light reaches into every cell.
Visualize each cell gently glowing,
Resting and realigning in its own natural rhythm.
Allow the balance of repair and visualize your whole body begin to glow with this gentle light,
Allowing you to feel relaxed,
Supported and at ease.
We're going to rest here for a few moments and feel the sense of alignment,
The sense of balance and the quiet assurance of love from source.
When you are ready,
Silently or out loud allow these affirmations to settle in.
You may repeat,
I allow my body to relax and realign.
I am supported by love and light.
Balance and ease flow through me.
I am safe,
Connected and at peace.
Let the light continue to hold you.
When it feels right,
Imagine the light gently settling within you,
Becoming a soft glow you carry with you.
When you are ready,
Begin to notice your breath again.
Notice the weight of your body,
The space around you.
You may gently open your eyes,
But take your time before moving.
And when you do,
Bring this calm,
Loving awareness with you into the rest of your day.
