Welcome,

I'm Jocelyn.

Thank you for joining me on this cleansing breath.

We'll be doing a few rounds of breathing together with a bit of visualization as a way to clear and cleanse your energy.

So wherever you are,

Just noticing where your breath is right now,

Just being a witness to your breath,

Observing each inhale and exhale as it enters and leaves your body.

We'll be taking some slow,

Deep breaths,

And in the process of breathing,

Might I invite you to imagine that with each inhale,

You are inhaling the light,

Inhaling the horizon,

The light,

The original sun.

And as you inhale all of that light,

It begins to push up anything that's no longer needed from inside your body.

So that on the exhale,

All of that bubbles up to the top and out of your body.

We'll be pausing at the bottom of the exhale so that you can make room and space for your own soul's light,

Imagining that it's growing in the space within your body.

And then as we inhale,

We'll be pulling in the light of the horizon,

That sun,

That original sun into the body to meet with the soul's light.

And as that light fills us up,

There is no room for the things that no longer serve us.

So they will bubble out on the exhale.

And again,

There at the bottom of the exhale,

We will hold our breath just for a few seconds to allow for our own soul's light to grow within.

So again,

Just bringing your awareness back to the present moment and how your body is breathing you without any manipulation,

Without any trying,

Just witnessing and observing.

We will be breathing in through the nose and blowing out through the mouth.

So let's go ahead and begin.

Inhaling through your nose,

Breathing in the light of the horizon,

The original sun,

And with all that light flooding your body,

Anything that no longer serves you.

Begins to bubble up as we begin to exhale through the mouth,

A gentle stream of air,

Releasing.

At the bottom of that exhale,

Just pause,

Allow your own soul's light to take up space within you.

And inhaling again from that horizon through the nose,

That light,

That sun,

Blowing out gently through the lips,

Anything that no longer serves you.

At the end of that exhale,

Pause,

Allowing for your own soul's light to take up space and inhale through the nose.

Exhale a gentle stream through your lips,

Releasing anything that no longer serves you.

At the bottom of the exhale,

Pause.

And inhaling through your nose,

That horizon,

That light,

That sun,

Exhaling through your mouth,

Blowing a gentle stream of air out,

Letting go.

Pausing at the bottom,

Allow your own soul's light to grow.

And as you inhale with your nose,

Allow your soul's light to meet the light of the horizon,

The sun.

With no more room for anything that's not serving you,

You blow it out through your lips,

A gentle stream of air.

At the bottom,

Pause.

Allow for your soul's light to grow bigger,

More expansive in your body as you inhale through your nose.

Exhale through your lips.

Pause and allow your soul's light to expand even further.

And as you inhale through your nose,

Allowing your soul's light to meet the light of the sun,

The horizon.

And one last exhale through your lips,

Blowing a gentle stream of air,

Anything that's left over within your body that no longer serves you.

And at the bottom,

Just pause one last time for the soul's light.

To grow within your body.

And just allowing the next inhale to come in your own cadence,

Your own depth,

Your own rhythm.

Invite you to let your awareness travel across your body,

Observing a movement of breath,

Observing any sensations across your skin,

Internally or externally.

Feel the effects of that energy cleansing.

Take note,

Observe it.

And when you're ready,

You can let go of that and go about your day.

Lovely way of making space within for self. It's been a weekend of grief with the loss of a dear friend. Layers of grief really with my family shrunk to half with a sibling gone last month. In a very good way it's given me space for myself. Thank you for this deep refresher. 🙏💗
