This writing prompt invites you to let grief move through you, without needing to fix or explain it. With breath and compassion, you’ll write from the ache—letting what hurts become ink that heals. If this track held space for you, consider sharing a line from your writing in a review—someone else may need that exact glimmer.

Welcome to this quiet moment of reflection.

I'm Jocelyn,

And this is one of many invitations to return to your voice,

Your truth,

Your creativity.

Let's begin.

Just noticing what your body feels like right now.

Maybe the position that your body's in.

Maybe noticing where your breath is moving in your body as you're just sitting and listening.

Maybe you might notice tension in one area,

Or tightness or warmth in an area of your body.

Notice if any part of your body wants to move a little.

And let's take a breath in through the nose,

And out through the mouth,

Letting your breath settle down in your body.

Inhale through your nose,

And sighing it out.

And out.

Grief is not just about endings.

Sometimes it's about what never was,

Or what almost was,

Or what changed too soon.

What has your heart been holding?

You don't have to make sense of it.

Just write it down.

That's the prompt.

What has your heart been holding?

Maybe it comes out as a list,

A letter,

A memory.

Maybe it shows up as colors,

Or shapes,

Or silence.

There's no wrong way to do this.

Just let the words come out however they want,

Trying not to judge what comes out.

Just allowing them to spill on the page,

To scribble across the lines,

To whisper themselves into existence.

Just let them flow.

This is just you and the page.

There is nothing to fix,

Nothing to prove.

Just honesty and ink.

Again,

The prompt is,

What has your heart been holding?

Let's take another breath,

Inhaling,

And sighing it out through your mouth.

What has your heart been holding?

Go ahead and put your pen to the paper,

And let it flow.
