Welcome!
I'm Jocelyn.
This is a meditation to balance and open your chakra system.
So wherever you are,
Whether you're sitting down or laying back,
I invite you to close your eyes and simply open your ears.
Notice any sounds in your space,
Any sounds on this recording or the sound of my voice as I guide you into a gentle relaxation.
You might notice the sounds of your own breath or your heartbeat,
Just allowing all of the vibrations around you to be witnessed through your ears.
And simply take a nice deep breath,
Inhaling through your nose,
Opening your mouth and exhaling out,
Inhaling through your nose,
Opening your mouth and sighing out.
And one more time,
Inhaling through your nose,
Opening your mouth and sighing out,
And bringing your awareness to the shape of your body,
Bringing your awareness to the edges of your body where your body meets the air.
Can you notice the curves and the angles of your body without trying to move your body,
Without trying to change the shape of your body?
Can you bring your awareness to the shape that your arms and your hands and your fingers are in?
Can you sense the curve of the back of your neck,
The space between your ears and your shoulders?
Can you sense the shape of your arms and the space between your fingers?
Can you sense the shape of your hips and the space between your legs?
Maybe the space at the bottom of your feet where they might meet the ground or the back of your ankles.
Can you sense any space between your toes?
Just allowing your awareness to drop from the top of your head all the way to the bottoms of your feet,
Noticing the shape of your body in space,
Noticing without judgment,
Noticing without trying to manipulate your body in any way.
Allowing it to be just as it is.
And this time,
As you take a nice deep breath in through the nose,
Can you bring your awareness to where your breath is moving in your body?
Inhaling through your nose,
Opening your mouth and sighing it out.
Can you feel your breath moving through your body?
Inhaling through your nose,
Opening your mouth and sighing out.
Can you sense your shape shifting or changing with each breath?
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling through your mouth and letting that go.
As we move into opening the chakra system,
We'll do two rounds of breath with each chakra center.
The first round of breath will be expanding the chakra system inside the temple of our body.
And the second round of breath will be expanding out past the shape of the body.
And might I just suggest that as you're in that second round of breath and you're moving past the shape of the body,
Might you imagine that the space around you is your friend,
That the space around you is working with you to expand each chakra center.
We'll start with the root chakra.
I invite you to place your awareness at the very center of the root chakra.
As if there was a pinpoint right in the center of the root chakra.
And on the next three inhales,
Might you imagine inhaling into this place,
The center of your root chakra.
And as you inhale,
Expanding the energy out.
But as you exhale,
Bringing all that energy back to that pinpoint.
In the center of the root chakra.
And each breath you take expanding further.
And coming in back to that center.
Inhaling through your nose.
Expanding the root center.
Exhaling,
Coming back to that center point of that chakra.
Inhaling from that center point,
Expanding out.
Exhaling back to the very center point of the root chakra.
Inhaling from that center point,
Expanding out.
Until you can imagine that the edges of the root chakra are at the edge of your body.
And exhaling back in to that pinpoint at the center.
In the next three breaths,
Can you imagine inhaling from that center point,
Out past the shape of your body,
Entering into the space around you.
And back to that center point.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And exhaling.
And one more time,
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And simply letting your awareness linger.
Like a loving gaze over the root chakra center.
As it dances.
You may see a color.
Or feel a movement.
You may have a thought.
Or a picture.
And moving up to the sacral chakra.
Can you place your awareness here on the center point,
The pinpoint of the sacral chakra.
And we're going to breathe three times,
Each expanding out from the center.
And coming back in.
In to that pinpoint.
Inhaling.
And exhaling back to the center point of the sacral chakra.
Inhaling from that center point and expanding out.
And exhaling back to that center point of the sacral chakra.
Inhaling from that center point all the way out and expanding to the edges of the body.
And exhaling back to that pinpoint of a center.
And for the next three breaths,
Allowing the energy of the sacral center to expand out beyond the body into the space all around you as far as it wants to go.
Exhaling.
And one more time,
Inhaling from the center point of the sacral chakra.
Expanding as far as it wants to go.
And exhaling back to that center point.
And just letting your awareness linger like a loving gaze across the sacral center.
I invite you to place your awareness on the center of the solar plexus,
That navel center.
And as we inhale and exhale three times,
Allowing your breath to expand that center out and come back in on the exhale.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
Inhaling from that center point of the solar plexus,
Expanding out.
And exhaling coming back to that pinpoint of a center.
And inhaling,
Expanding that chakra center.
Softening at all the edges,
And exhaling back to the pinpoint center of the solar plexus.
And on the next three breaths,
Inhaling from that place of that pinpoint center.
Allowing your breath to expand the solar plexus all the way out past the shape of the body into the space around you,
As far as it wants to go.
And when you exhale,
Bringing it back to that pinpoint center.
For three more breaths.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And inhaling from the center of the solar plexus.
And exhaling right back to that center point.
And one last time,
Inhaling from the center point of the solar plexus,
Expanding out as far as it wants to reach.
And exhaling back to the center point of the solar plexus.
Allowing your awareness to linger here at the navel center.
Again,
You might hear something,
Feel something,
See something.
You might find a word or a phrase or a thought.
And I invite you to find that very pinpoint center of the heart chakra.
Breathe into this space of the heart,
Softening the edges and expanding out on each inhale.
And on each exhale,
We'll bring that breath right back to the center point of the heart space,
The heart chakra.
We're going to breathe three times here.
Inhaling.
And exhaling back to the center of the heart.
And inhaling from that center and expanding and softening out.
And exhaling back to the center.
Inhaling from that very pinpoint center of the heart,
Expanding in all directions,
Front,
Back,
And side.
And exhaling back to that center place of the heart.
And for the next three breaths,
Each inhale,
You'll expand and soften out past the shape of the body into the space all around you,
In all directions,
As far as your heart chakra wants to go.
Three more breaths.
Inhaling from the center of the heart.
And exhaling back to the center of the heart.
Inhaling,
Expanding,
Softening out past the shape of your body into space.
And exhaling back to the center of your heart.
And one last time.
Inhaling,
Expanding,
And softening the heart as far as it wants to go.
And exhaling,
Bringing your awareness and the breath back to that center point of the heart.
And I invite you to allow your awareness to linger across the heart chakra like a loving gaze.
Maybe there is a story to tell here that you're witnessing.
And I invite you to bring your awareness to the very center of the throat chakra.
We'll take three breaths from the center of the throat chakra.
As we inhale,
Softening and expanding the throat chakra.
And as we exhale,
Coming back to that center point.
Here we go.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
Inhaling from the center of the throat chakra.
Expanding out.
And exhaling,
Bringing it back to that center point of the throat chakra.
Inhaling,
Expanding,
And softening.
And exhaling back to the center of the throat chakra.
On the next three breaths,
We'll inhale and expand and soften out past the shape of our body,
Out into the space all around us.
As far as your throat chakra wants to dance.
And bringing it back into that center pinpoint of the throat chakra.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And exhaling.
And one last time,
Inhaling from that pinpoint center of the throat chakra.
And exhaling,
Bringing it back to that center point of the throat chakra.
And I invite you to let your awareness linger over the throat chakra like a loving gaze,
Noticing and witnessing the rhythm of this chakra.
How it feels,
How it looks,
How it sounds.
And I invite you to place your awareness on the very center of the third eye chakra.
We'll breathe three times into this center,
Expanding outward on the inhale,
And coming back to that center point on the exhale.
Here we go.
Inhaling from the center point of the third eye,
Expanding out and softening.
And on the exhale,
Bring back to that center point of the third eye chakra.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And on the next three breaths,
As we inhale,
Allowing the third eye chakra to expand and soften past the shape of your body,
Out into the space around you,
As far as it wants to travel.
And on each exhale,
Coming back into that very center core of the third eye.
Here we go.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And exhaling.
Expanding and softening outward.
And exhaling back to that center core of the third eye.
That pinpoint center.
I invite you to allow your awareness to linger here like a loving gaze.
Witnessing the chakra of the third eye.
You might notice geometry or shape,
People,
Places or things,
Sounds,
Words or thoughts.
And I invite you to bring your awareness to the very core pinpoint center of the crown chakra at the top of your head.
We'll inhale from the center of the core,
Expanding outward.
And as we exhale,
Bringing that breath right back to that core center pinpoint.
Here we go.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
Inhaling in the center of the crown chakra.
And exhaling back to that center point.
And one last time.
Inhaling from the center point.
Expanding outward.
And exhaling back to that center point.
And on these last three breaths,
As you inhale from the center core of that crown chakra,
Might you inhale and soften and expand in all directions as far as your crown chakra wants to travel.
And as you exhale,
Bringing it back to that center core.
Here we go.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And exhaling.
And last time.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And might you let your awareness linger here at the crown chakra with a loving gaze.
And might you imagine a gentle flowing light entering the bottoms of your feet,
Going all the way up your legs through all of the chakra system.
The root,
Sacral,
Solar plexus,
The heart,
Throat,
Third eye,
And crown chakra.
And as that light comes up to the crown chakra,
It simply goes back down all around your body like a waterfall.
And it comes back up through the bottoms of the feet and the palms of the hands.
All the way back through the chakra system,
Out through the top of the head,
And around again like a waterfall.
A regenerative,
Beautiful waterfall of your own energy in rainbow colors,
Energizing and cleansing your whole system,
Clearing out anything you no longer need,
Clearing out anything that is no longer serving you.
All the way through your system,
Up through the bottoms of your feet and the palms of your hands.
All the way up the root,
The sacral,
The solar plexus,
The heart,
The throat,
The third eye,
And crown chakra,
Where it disperses in all directions like a waterfall back down.
To the bottom of the feet and the palms of the hands.
And simply letting that go.
Notice again the shape of your body.
Notice how your body feels.
Notice your breath without manipulating it.
And when you're ready,
You might begin to wiggle your fingertips or your toes.
You might begin to stretch parts of your body,
Nodding your head in one direction or another.
You might flutter your eyes open.
You might go and grab a notebook or pen to write down your experience of opening all seven chakras in your body.
You might simply breathe into your body right now with a thank you,
A note of gratitude.
Thank you so much for coming along on this journey with me.
Again,
I'm Jocelyn.
Namaste.
