Welcome to your day.
And welcome into your body,
Which is where we will start.
Bring your attention to your feet first.
Feel them.
Notice them.
All your toes,
Heels,
And soles.
Now your legs.
Shins and calves.
Knee joints and thighs.
And your hips,
The weight of where you're sitting or lying.
And move your awareness up through your back.
Lower back and middle and upper back.
Your spine.
And your belly,
All your organs and your ribs.
Your lungs and your heart.
Your shoulders.
Let them drop and relax.
And notice your hands.
Fingers and palms.
Wrists and forearms.
Elbows and upper arms.
Torso and limbs.
And your neck.
Your throat.
Your jaw,
Your scalp.
And your face,
Eyes,
Nose,
Mouth and ears all here.
You have a whole body that arrived with you into this day.
Before the goals.
And before the to-do list.
Before any of it,
You have a body and it is here.
And it is ready with you.
So take a breath that fills up your chest and your belly.
Hold it for a second at the top and then release.
Long and slack.
And let us set you up for this day with some intentions.
And you can repeat them after me if you'd like.
Out louder in your head or you can simply let my voice carry the energy for you.
I am ready for this day.
My body is my ally today.
I have what I need.
I bring my whole self to this day.
I am grounded and present.
Today has something good in it for me.
I move through this day with ease.
I am capable and resourced.
I am ready for this day.
One final breath all the way in.
