Welcome to this forest visualisation meditation.
Taking a comfortable seated position or laying down wherever you feel comfortable.
Maybe using an eye mask to eliminate any light.
I just want you to land in your body.
Scanning your body for any tight areas and letting go with your exhales.
Taking in three big deep breaths in your own time.
Relaxing your jaw,
Relax your tongue.
Bring your tongue away from the roof of your mouth,
Maybe resting it behind your teeth.
And really let go.
Just allowing your breath to find its natural rhythm.
And I want you to visualise yourself standing at the beginning of a wood or a forest.
Bare feet.
I want you to step into the forest.
Visualising yourself stepping in and over this boundary to this wood.
And when you've stepped into your forest,
How does it make you feel?
I want you to look around you.
Look up.
What kind of trees do you have in your forest?
How tall are they?
What colours are they?
And how does this make you feel?
Noticing the smells around you.
Are you in a pine forest?
Are you in a tropical forest?
What kind of trees are around and what do they smell like?
How does that make you feel?
Now I want you to take a big step into your wood,
Into your forest.
Noticing underfoot,
Under the sole of your foot,
The textures surrounding your feet.
Is it soft?
Is it mossy?
Is it quite prickly?
What kind of textures can you feel under your feet right now?
And then I want you to keep walking through your forest.
Noticing the sun creaking through the tops of the trees.
Noticing any life forming on the forest floor.
Noticing wildlife around you.
And just taking a glance up,
Looking up through the canopy of your forest.
Bright blue sky,
But just peeping through there are mountains.
Snow-capped mountains,
All framed by this forest,
All framed by bright blue sky,
All framed by bright blue sky,
Fluffy clouds.
And it's here where you feel most calm,
Relaxed,
Happy.
And you keep walking through your forest and you come to a rock.
And you take a seat on your rock and you just peer over.
There's a little stream right next to your rock.
And you turn to the stream and you dangle your feet in.
Noticing the coolness of the water,
Noticing how clear this water is.
Mountain forest water.
It's quite chilly because it's just come down from the mountains.
You maybe feel a little thirsty.
So you cup your hands,
Lean across,
And let the water flow into the palms of your hands.
Like you're creating a little cup.
You splash your face to cool you down.
And then you fill up your cup again.
And you take a sip of this beautiful,
Tasting,
Fresh water.
Noticing the taste in your mouth.
And you just sit here,
Gazing around your forest.
Watching the water flow through,
Creating this little stream that you're sat next to and in.
Noticing every droplet of water passing through.
Every droplet of water different.
Carrying different energies,
Different shape,
Different sizes,
Different colours.
Noticing this is unique.
You see the beam of sunshine coming down onto your stream.
Just catching the water,
Sparkling,
Twinkling in the sunlight.
Noticing any sensations coming up.
And notice how calm your body feels right now.
And then you slowly take your feet out of the water.
Let them dry in the sun.
Being hyper aware of your body's thoughts,
Feelings right now in your body.
And then you place your feet back down onto your forest floor.
And you walk the trail back through to the start of your wood,
Your forest.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And you just sit here,
Just sitting here.
And on your arms,
You take a big,
Deep stretch out and up towards the sky.
Take a big,
Deep breath in,
All the way up.
Filling your lungs with that fresh oxygen.
Then on your exhale,
Big sigh out.
And then once more,
Big,
Deep breath in.
Really bringing your arms up.
Stretching up to the sky,
To the forest.
Exhaling out,
Bringing your arms all the way back down.
And as you slowly begin to start to wake up,
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Bring the sensation back into your body.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes or carry on with your day.
Namaste.
