Hello and welcome to a gratitude meditation today and I wanted to do this meditation because I've just seen the best sunset oh my gosh my heart is so full it was just beautiful it was incredible so I thought I've got to share this with you guys and oh I just I just love it so I want you to come into a comfortable seated position either sitting on the floor or you can sit on a blanket or you can sit on a cushion wherever you feel comfortable and I just want you to close your eyes push your shoulders down away from your ears and just relax your jaw bring your tongue away from the roof of your mouth and just really slowing down your breath breathing in through your nose really using your inhales through your nose drawing that air into your lungs into your tummy really noticing your chest expanding noticing your tummy expanding noticing how you're feeling and then on your exhales I just want you to decrease everything just deflate your tummy deflate your chest and with it drawing out all of that negative energy and just keep breathing this way really drawing that air in through your nose down through the back of your throat into your lungs nourishing your lungs and then exhaling out of your mouth and just getting rid of any itches any niggles just really moving your body so you are completely comfortable having your hands resting wherever is comfortable maybe in your lap maybe grounding down if you are outside bringing your hands to the ground allowing you to ground allowing your body to connect with the earth and I just want you your breath to find its natural rhythm just allowing just allowing the breath flow easily in and out without any kind of tension any kind of force and allow your thoughts to drift away don't worry if any thoughts come your way and you need to get rid of them you don't you just deal with them in your own way and move on when you first start a meditation practice it is hard to quieten the mind but the more you practice it the easier it becomes now I want you to think of three things that you are grateful for today I'm really using that energy that gratefulness really filling the energy within your body noticing how it feels so you might get a tingling sensation you might start to cry you might just be sitting there or laying down and just feeling calm whatever it is breathing in that energy breathing in that amazing feeling that this meditation is bringing you that your gratitude your gratefulness is bringing you and if you think of more than three things then say those as well because when you come from a grateful heart everything is good around you you start to notice things better you start to notice things more you start to notice things more and your whole world just feels incredible now I want you to think of three things about your body that you are grateful for and just saying to yourself I am grateful for now this might be breathing I am grateful for my breath I am grateful for my legs so I can walk I am grateful for my mouth so I can talk and I can eat the more connected you feel to your body the more things happen in your life that are good you start to really connect with your body connect with your mind and your soul and just noticing your breath again allowing its natural rhythm to rise and fall in your body but just bringing your attention back to your body back to your breath now noticing how it feels when you're breathing with all that gratitude that you've just given yourself and now I want you to find three things that you are grateful for within your family within your friends now that might mean your husband or wife that might mean your children that might even mean your pet three things that you are solely connected to and solely feel grateful for for having them in your life so just saying to yourself I am grateful for your breath and just really asking asking the universe asking your spirit guides asking your angels whatever you want to call them just saying thank you again noticing in your body how you're feeling all of this amazing energy within your body you can just say thank you and I receive this thank you I receive this thank you and just come from a place of really knowing you are loved you are healing you are loved by yourself say to yourself I love myself I love me I love my life the more you have positive thoughts positive feelings the better your life the better your life becomes and as you slowly begin to wake up just small movements within your toes within your fingers maybe having a stretch maybe having a yawn and one last big gratefulness to your body I am grateful for my time that I have spent in meditation just by saying those words you are really connected to your body and your soul and you are healing and then when you want to slowly opening your eyes and carrying on with your day maybe journaling your thoughts maybe carrying on your meditation or starting your day thank you so so much I'm so so grateful to have you here thank you sending you so much love and my heart is so full to be able to share with this you with this with you today enjoy the rest of your day
