Hi this is Fran Chandler.

Thanks for joining me today.

So each day when we get up we have an opportunity of creating our own storyline.

How do you choose to begin your storyline today?

Do you want to start it with a sense of chaos,

Fear,

Struggle,

Pain,

Conflict,

Or maybe just taking a moment you could start with the simple act of being here and now.

Grounded,

Balanced,

Stable,

Steady,

And secure.

Each one of us has a choice to rewrite our storyline at any given moment or time of the day,

And I'm glad you decided to join me here and now.

I invite you to become settled in a comfortable seated position,

Tall straight spine,

Relaxing your hips,

Maybe allowing them to melt a little bit.

Sit bones grounded into your seat,

Relax your shoulders down and away from your ears,

And maybe just allow your arms to rest in stillness on your thighs,

Allowing your fingers to be open and relaxed.

Now I'm going to ask you to bring your awareness and connect with your breath for several rounds.

Take a moment and notice the inhale and exhale.

Maybe explore and begin to pause at the top of each breath and then again at the bottom of the exhale,

Just allowing everything to slow down.

The body begins to settle and awareness is more relaxed,

Bringing you to the present moment of here and now,

Listening to me speak to you.

Allow this awareness to notice the anchor of your body connected to the ground beneath you,

Creating this sense of steadiness.

Feel that sense of security as your breath moves through you up to the crown of your head,

Expanding all of this space within you.

Continue to breathe,

Gently reminding yourself to allow for the pause at the top and the bottom of each breath.

Notice the sense of brightness that's created within your body,

Balanced with the depth of your anchor,

Grounded into the earth where you calmly sit.

This space that you created is in the here and now.

It is the space where we could move more precisely with a sense of calm and equanimity.

This space is where we each get to begin our storyline.

Continue to breathe,

Awareness to the breath,

Awareness to the brightness within,

Awareness to the anchor grounding you.

Continue to breathe as you slowly move your awareness back to your physical body and in the space you are in.

When you feel ready,

Slowly begin to awaken and gently move your body,

Opening your eyes so that you can create and begin your new storyline.
