Meet your Teacher

Fran Chandler is a certified yoga and meditation teacher with over twelve years of dedicated practice and instruction. She has worked closely with clients in one-on-one sessions as well as led group classes for residents in retirement communities, where her gentle, compassionate approach has helped many reconnect with their inner peace and vitality. Rooted in a deep desire to help others live with more grace, ease, and joy, Fran’s work emphasizes the healing power of presence and the transformative nature of self-awareness. Her teachings draw from years of personal experience and spiritual exploration, thoughtfully curated into this journal to guide others toward growth and healing from within. Whether you're just beginning your path or deepening an existing practice, Fran invites you to approach each class with curiosity and an open heart. Lesson 1

The Root Chakra

In this lesson, we explore the Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine. As the foundation of the body’s energy system, the Root Chakra is associated with the element of Earth and governs our sense of safety, stability, and survival. To support healing and balance, we will begin with a grounding movement practice that focuses on the legs and feet to promote stability and presence. This will be followed by a meditation to help anchor our awareness in the present moment. The lesson will conclude with journal prompts designed to encourage deeper reflection.

Lesson 2

The Sacral Chakra

In lesson two we will explore the Sacral Chakra, located in the lower abdomen just below the navel. This chakra is the center of creativity, pleasure, emotions, and relationships. It governs our ability to experience joy, passion, and emotional expression. We will begin with a movement flow which is designed to open and balance the Sacral Chakra by connecting you with your creativity, emotions, and the fluidity of movement. A visualization mediation will follow and the lesson will conclude with guided prompts to work on.

Lesson 3

The Solar Plexus Chakra

In lesson three we will explore the Solar Plexus Chakra, which is the center of personal power, confidence, and self-esteem. This chakra is located directly above the navel and It governs our sense of identity, autonomy, and ability to take action. Our movement course will concentrate on our core strength followed by a Mindfulness Mediation and journal prompts

Lesson 4

The Heart Chakra

Located at the center of the chest, the Heart Chakra is the bridge between the lower and upper chakras—governing our ability to give and receive love, practice empathy, offer forgiveness, and heal emotional wounds. In this session, we’ll begin with a gentle movement practice designed to open the heart space and cultivate feelings of compassion, emotional release, and self-acceptance. Following the movement, you’ll be guided through a meditation centered on loving-kindness—first toward yourself, then gradually extending outward to others. We’ll close with a set of reflective journal prompts to help you deepen your connection to the heart, explore your capacity for forgiveness, and nurture emotional healing from within.

Lesson 5

The Throat Chakra

When the Throat Chakra is balanced, you feel confident expressing yourself authentically—with both honesty and compassion. This energy center, located at the throat, governs communication, truth, and self-expression. We’ll begin this lesson with a movement practice focused on neck and throat stretches, along with deep, mindful breathing, to activate this chakra and support a clearer, more confident voice—both physically and energetically. The meditation that follows will focus on strengthening self-expression and building confidence in your communication, helping you speak your truth with ease and integrity. To close, you’ll receive a series of journal prompts to explore your relationship with your voice, and your ability to express yourself..

The Third Eye Chakra

The Third Eye Chakra, located between the eyebrows, is the center of intuition, inner wisdom, and spiritual insight. It governs your ability to see beyond the physical—offering clarity, perspective, and a deep connection to your inner guide. When the Third Eye Chakra is balanced, you experience heightened intuition, clear vision, and the ability to trust your inner knowing. In this lesson, we’ll begin with a gentle flow designed to stimulate and balance the Third Eye Chakra through mindful movement, deep focus, and intentional relaxation. Following the flow, you’ll be guided through a meditation to strengthen your connection with your intuition—helping you tune into your inner wisdom. We’ll close with reflective journal prompts to support your intuitive growth and help you recognize the quiet, wise voice within.

The Crown Chakra

The Crown Chakra, located at the top of the head, is the center of spiritual connection, enlightenment, and divine consciousness. This chakra acts as a gateway to higher states of awareness, inner wisdom, and universal energy. The Crown Chakra allows you to feel deeply connected to something greater than yourself. It brings a sense of peace, purpose, and unity, transcending the limitations of the physical world. This lesson begins with a gentle movement practice designed to calm the mind and cultivate openness. Our meditation will guide you inward—using breath, visualization, and contemplation—to connect with the essence of spirituality that already lives inside you. You’ll be invited to explore a state of wonder, presence, and trust in the unfolding of life. We’ll close with journal prompts that help you reflect on our sense of purpose, expand our awareness, and deepen our connection to the infinite.
