Celtic Blessings for Rest You have walked the circle of the elements through the quiet of the evening.

Earth has steadied your body.

Water has carried away your burdens.

Fire has warmed your heart.

Air has freed your spirit.

And spirit has wrapped you in its cloak of love.

The Celts knew that night was not emptiness,

But a sacred space of renewal.

The womb of dreams,

The hearth of silence,

The threshold of mystery.

As you complete this series of night blessings,
