Hello and thank you for joining me for this soothing,
Calming and dreamy meditation.
Lay back,
Get comfortable,
Get as cosy as you can be and settle in.
Take a deep,
Slow inhale and a long,
Gentle exhale.
Breathing in through the nose and let it out the mouth.
Breathe in deeply,
Feel the air as it moves through your body and exhale,
Let go of any heaviness,
Any thought,
Any effort.
Inhale peace,
Feel the breath rise and exhale,
Let everything go.
Exhale,
Feel your body becoming more and more relaxed.
Feel your body becoming heavier as it's supported by the ground beneath you.
Allow your shoulders to drop,
Allow your jaw to soften,
Allow your eyes to soften.
And your brow to smooth.
There is nothing that you need to do right now,
There's nowhere that you need to go.
So let yourself be,
Be here in the present moment and feel your body relaxing.
Feel your body becoming lighter and lighter,
And you feel so light that you could be floating.
Imagine you are floating,
Imagine you're laying on a soft and fluffy cloud.
It's so pillowy,
Warm and light.
The white cloud cradles your body like a hammock,
Moulding perfectly to your shape.
The cloud gently lifts up into the sky and you float high above the earth,
So effortlessly,
Peacefully and slowly.
You float up above the trees,
Above the rooftops,
Over the treetops.
You pass over the rivers and the hills,
Everything looks so distant and still.
Above you the sky is a cool blue and the sun warmly glows,
Not too bright,
Just right.
The air is pure,
Light and cool and so refreshing.
You feel the cool breeze whisper across your skin,
Carrying the scent of wildflowers,
Fresh rain,
Distant oceans.
Everything feels so clean and pure.
Know that the peace of the sky is your peace.
And the stillness of the air is your stillness.
Let yourself drift away as you float on the fluffy,
Pillowy cloud.
And if your mind begins to wander,
Return to the feeling of the cloud beneath you.
Return to the feeling of the lightness of your breath and the freedom of floating.
And know that nothing can reach you up here.
Any heaviness,
Worries,
Your day or your to-do list has dropped far below.
You are held in a cocoon of calm in your white,
Fluffy cloud.
You are light.
You are free.
Stay here.
Stay here and enjoy the sensations of complete relaxation.
Floating in the sky,
Looking down at the world.
The birds and the bees that surround you.
Let it all soothe your mind,
Your body and soul.
You begin to feel the cloud slowly lowering you back down towards the air,
Descending through the soft layers of the sky,
Past the treetops,
The hills,
The distant oceans,
Past all the birds and the bees.
And you slowly arrive to the present moment as the cloud lowers you back down to the earth.
You feel the surface beneath your body.
You feel the weight of your body.
And you become aware of your body,
Your fingers and your toes.
You give them a little wiggle and you notice your breath.
You come back to your breath and deepen it a little.
Add any other movement that you like,
Maybe circling the wrists or the ankles,
Or taking a long stretch and a good yawn.
Anything that feels good for you.
Take a final deep breath in through the nose with a big stretch and exhale with a big sigh.
And let today's meditation remind you that when life does feel heavy,
There is always a part of you that can float above the noise.
There's always a part of you that's still,
Light and free.
