Hello and thank you for joining me today for this meditation.

So today I invite you to lay down and get fully settled.

You might want to use a blanket to help you fully relax,

Maybe a cushion underneath your head and get comfortable wherever you are,

Your bed,

Your yoga mat,

A sofa or the beautiful outdoors.

Take any wiggles to help you get more cosy and let's take a long and deep breath in and a slow and soothing breath out.

Inhale a long gentle breath and exhale as you relax,

Letting your body settle into stillness here.

Feel your legs lean on,

Your feet fall to the side,

Your arms relax by your side with your palms facing up.

Let your head be heavy as it rests on the ground and let your face completely soften,

Your jaw,

Your cheeks,

Your eyes,

Your forehead.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale you settle in more and more.

In your mind's eye imagine you're laying on a beautiful tropical beach.

You're lying on the soft and warm sand and the sand cradles your body,

Hugging every inch of your body from your head down to your toes.

You look above at the bright blue sky,

You feel the sun warming your skin,

Not too bright,

Not too hot,

Just right.

You hear birds singing and you smell the beautiful tropical ocean in front of you.

See the ocean,

See the waves,

Notice how the ocean stretches out wide and see the waves as they gently roll in and out so peacefully.

As you watch the waves notice how your body begins to sync your breath to the rhythm of the sea.

As the wave rises you inhale and as the wave returns you exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Breathing with the ocean so steady and so calming.

As the waves gently approach it feels so cool and cleansing and as the wave retreats it takes with it any heaviness that you may be carrying in your body or your mind.

As you inhale see the waves approaching,

Feel that cool cleansing sensation and exhale as you see the wave retreats,

Letting it take away any heaviness.

Take a moment here to simply be,

To be here with your breath,

With the waves,

With the blue sky,

The sun and the birds.

Let your body and your mind be totally soothed by the sea.

You're welcome to stay here for as long as you like.

Breathing with the ocean,

Picturing the beautiful tropical beach.

When you are ready to awaken,

Feel your body as you lay on the beach and as you take a long deep breath you feel yourself coming back to the present,

To where you are right now.

Let's take a couple more breaths,

Like a final few gentle waves flowing over your body.

Breathe in,

Feel light,

Exhale,

Feel grounded.

Inhale,

Breathe in the refreshing sea air and exhale,

Your mind and body feels clear.

Take your time to slowly awaken,

To wiggle the fingers and the toes,

To circle the wrists and the ankles,

Taking a full body stretch or any other movement that feels good.

Let your eyes close as you move your body,

See where your body takes you as you awaken from today's meditation.

Thank you so much for joining me today,

I really hope you enjoyed it and you feel as calm as the ocean.
