Hello my name is Corrine and thank you for joining me for this meditation today.
I invite you to lay back and get settled in,
Fully arrive and take any movements that you need to get extra cozy,
Maybe put a blanket on top of you.
Anything that helps you to get settled and to relax.
Let your eyes close,
Let your whole body soften down to the ground,
Feel your feet as they fall to the side,
Let your legs lay long,
Your arms open,
Palms open,
Fingers completely loose,
Let your chest feel expansive,
Let your back be heavy on the ground,
Let your head rest heavy and feel all the muscles in your face completely soften,
Your jaw,
Your cheeks,
Your forehead,
Your eyes sink back into their sockets and feel your mind quiet,
Allowing the mind to quiet by focusing on the breath,
Feel the gentle flow of air in and out of your nose,
Take a deep slow breath in and a long steady breath out,
Inhaling through the nose and exhale,
Breathe in calm and exhale as you feel your whole body melting down to the ground,
More and more.
As you lay here,
Take yourself to a garden,
Like a big park,
A beautiful open park and the garden is so peaceful and you feel so relaxed that you decide to take off your shoes,
You take off your sock and you have a walk with bare feet through the garden,
The warm grass cushions every step,
It feels so soft beneath your feet,
The sun shines down on you and wraps you in a golden glow,
Soothing your skin like a soft blanket,
The scent of wildflowers fills the air,
You smell lavender and a hint of rose,
The breeze gently carries the different scents to you and it feels so earthy,
So delicate in grounding,
You hear the soft hum of the bees,
The call of the birds and the rustling of leaves as the wind dances through the trees,
You feel so safe here in this garden,
You feel completely relaxed,
This garden is your sanctuary,
It's a place just for you.
On your stroll through the garden,
You come to a spot that calls you to rest,
You lie down comfortably and let the earth cradle your body,
You feel the grass cushion your body from your head and down to your toes,
Let your body settle in as you lay down in the beauty of the garden.
You take a moment to notice what's around you,
You look up from the sky as wide and open,
A perfect canvas of soft blue with a few white fluffy clouds slowly drifting by,
The sunlight filters through the leaves from the tree above,
You see butterflies floating by,
Birds singing in the distance and the grass swaying around you,
You hear the soft hum of bees amongst the flowers,
Every sound adds to the serenity,
The serenity of this garden,
Nature's quiet lullaby.
With every breath,
You feel your body soften and settle even more,
And as you inhale,
You draw in the peace of the nature,
You draw in the calm of the garden,
As you exhale,
You notice how your body deeply relaxes more and more,
Breathe in the warm scent,
The gentle sound,
The peace and the stillness of the garden,
And exhale,
Notice how your mind begins to quiet,
Notice all your thoughts slowing down like clouds lazily drifting across the sky,
Inhale light,
Inhale the warmth of the garden,
And exhale,
Allow your body to soften and release,
Take a moment to pause,
To enjoy laying in the garden,
Surrounded by nature,
Listening to the birds singing,
The sun shining down on you,
And your whole body cushioned by the grass,
Inhale,
And exhale,
Let go.
And whenever you're ready,
Please do feel free to stay here as long as you want,
But when you are ready,
Slowly begin to awaken,
As you feel the weight of your body resting on the ground,
Feel the air on your skin,
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
And deepen the breath,
Invite soft movement back with a wiggle,
A stretch or a yawn,
And as you do awaken,
Carry the peace of the garden with you,
Knowing that you can return to this place and this feeling whenever you need it,
Take a moment to thank yourself for taking the time to rest,
To reconnect,
And simply be,
And thank you so much for joining me today,
I hope you have a beautiful day.
