Hello and thank you so much for joining me for this meditation today.
My name is Carine and I invite you to get comfortable however you wish.
Whether you're sitting or laying down,
Find a position that suits you and take any wiggles that help you get settled in and take a long deep breath in through the nose and as you exhale feel your whole body soften and relax and welcome complete relaxation to your body and here bring your awareness to your face and allow everything to relax.
Allow your eyes to be heavy,
Unclench your jaw and feel the sensation of relaxation flow down your shoulders to your heart,
Your chest,
Your belly,
Your hips and feel the sensation flow down to your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
All the way to your feet and your toes and let your full body rest right here right now.
This moment is all yours,
There's no need to carry any heaviness right now,
Just let it all go.
And let your attention rest on your breath flowing in and out like a soothing wave and as you breathe allow a sense of gratitude to rise within you like a warm golden light filling your heart and really feel that golden light at your heart shining brightly.
Breathe it in and as you exhale it shines a little brighter and take a moment to feel gratitude for your body,
The miracle that carries you through life every day.
Thank your feet for supporting you,
Your hands for creating and connecting,
Thank your heart for beating thousands and thousands of times a day and your lungs for breathing life into each moment.
Now bring to mind the smaller blessings,
The little joys that bring light into your days,
The warmth of the sunshine,
The sound of laughter,
The beauty of nature,
Even the stillness of these at the present moment.
Let these little things fill your heart,
Feel that golden glow shining brighter and brighter.
And bring to mind the people in your life who support and care for you.
And send them a wave of love,
Of gratitude.
And let's bring this love and gratitude inward.
Thank yourself for showing up today,
For being here right now and taking this time for your body,
Mind and soul.
Allow your body to rest in this golden cocoon filled with love and gratitude.
Remember that gratitude doesn't need big grand moments,
It lives in the simple,
The small,
And the everyday.
Rest here,
Breathing in the golden glow.
And every exhale you'll soften and relax a little bit deeper.
And feel your body shining from head to toes.
And allow yourself to fully let go.
Please do stay here for as long as you like,
As long as you have time for today,
Really soak in this moment.
Whenever you are ready,
We'll take a long deep breath in,
Breathing on all that love,
All that gratitude.
And as you exhale,
Feel it flow all the way down your body.
Feel your body shining from the inside out.
