Good evening and welcome.

My name is Kathy and I'm glad you could join me.

This sleep meditation is designed to help your body and mind unwind,

Releasing the stress of the day so you can rest deeply.

Find a comfortable position,

Lying down or resting somewhere you can fully let go.

Close your eyes and allow yourself to arrive here,

In this moment.

Take a slow,

Gentle breath in through your nose and softly exhale through your mouth.

Let your body begin to settle.

Bring your attention to your body.

Feel the weight of your body being fully supported.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your breath.

With each exhale,

Imagine your muscles softening,

The forehead smoothing,

The jaw unclenching,

The shoulders melting down away from your ears.

Let your arms grow heavy,

Your hands soft,

Your belly rises and falls naturally,

Your legs and feet completely release into stillness.

There's nowhere else to be,

Nothing you need to do,

Just breathing,

Just resting.

Now bring awareness to your breath,

Calm,

Steady,

Effortless.

Breathe in through your nose for a count of four,

Hold for a moment,

Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of six.

Let each slow exhale signal safety to your body.

Let your heart beat slow.

Let your thoughts drift away like clouds moving across the sky.

You are safe.

You are supported.

You can let go.

Now,

Allow your breath to find its own easy rhythm.

Feel your body heavy,

Calm,

At peace.

If sleep is coming,

Let it take you.

If you're still awake,

Rest in the stillness of this moment.

Knowing your body is already shifting into deep rest and repair.

You've done enough for today.

You are enough.

Good night and sleep well.
