Hello and welcome. My name is Bailey and I'm a nurse practitioner turned Reiki master teacher, Sound healer, And yoga teacher. And today I am sharing with you the first in my Reiki chakra healing series. We're going to be doing a distance Reiki healing session focused on the root chakra. And you'll also be listening to root chakra specific affirmations. And my sound healing frequency. Singing bowl music as well. So I invite you to find a comfortable place to relax and receive this session. Ideally your bed or a comfortable chair or sofa. Where you can really rest and relax. Get all of the lovely benefits from the Reiki energy. To help with. Balancing and restoring harmony too. Your root chakra. So once you're all settled in, Gently bring your awareness inward. To your heart space. Closing down your eyes. And imagine that you are breathing in through your heart. Feeling your heart space expand on the inhale. And then softly exhaling. Letting go and releasing. And again, Breathing in through your heart space. Feeling it open. And then softly letting go. Releasing. And as your awareness. Is at your heart space. I invite you to place your intention for our session today gently into your heart space. Letting it ripple out through your aura. Through your energy body. This intention acts as a powerful guide to healthy energy now. What you would like assistance with today. So just letting that flow out. And then I'm going to begin sending you distance Reiki now. So I invite you to. . . Just bring your awareness too. The back of your body. All of the points that touch the surface beneath you. Feel your body start to melt down. A little bit. Softer. Into the surface beneath you at those points. Feeling held. Feeling supported. As the light of Reiki flows to you now. This is your time to receive. There's nowhere else you need to be. This is your moment. For yourself. To connect and harmonize your root chakra. So I invite you to. . . Repeat these affirmations. After me. Either out loud or in your mind. Or you can simply let them wash over you. Planting seeds in your subconscious mind. I am grounded in my body. I am safe and supported. I trust in life. I am rooted and secure. I belong here. Letting your chest rise on the inhale. And then softly letting go and relaxing on the exhale. And again, Breathing in, Filling your lungs. Letting your belly rise. And then softly relaxing, Releasing. Letting your breath guide you back into your physical body. Your physical surroundings. Starting to take some small movements of your fingers and toes. Maybe rolling out your wrists and ankles. For having a nice yawn or full body stretch. Gently blinking your eyes open. Taking a few moments to take in your physical surroundings.
