Welcome to your May reset.
Take your time to arrive here.
Allow your body to settle.
And just find your comfy space,
Warm and cozy.
Not all at once,
But gradually you are gently placing everything that you've been carrying down beside you.
Just for these next few moments.
Just let them go.
Softly close your eyes and just let your breath come,
Just as it is.
And just notice beneath everything,
There is already a quiet place within you.
It's been waiting for you.
Feel your body softer.
Shoulders letting go.
Jaw is softening.
Arms,
Hands,
Fingers releasing.
Your chest is softening.
Your back.
Letting go.
Hips,
Belly,
Legs,
Feet and toes.
Relax.
Good.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you release,
Just let go of any further stress or tension you've been holding on to.
And gently bring your awareness back to your breath and just follow it.
Inhale.
The breath is creating space deep within you and exhale.
As though something tired is softly loosening its grip.
Again,
Inhale.
Space.
Exhale.
Release.
Your breath is a beautiful doorway.
Something that you move through.
Now gently bring your awareness into your body.
Just going a little deeper as though you can sense the quiet weight of your body from within.
And anywhere that you notice any holding,
Any tension or fatigue,
Just feel the breath reaching it like a soft tide flowing in.
Reaching those parts of you that need a little tender care.
And with each exhale,
The wave it gently recedes,
Taking with it just a little of what you no longer need.
And again,
Breathe in.
Feel the wave of the breath reaching those parts of you that are most needed.
And as you breathe out,
Feel it all receding back with the tide flowing out.
And just resume your natural breathing pattern now.
So without any effort,
Just allow an image to begin to form.
So you find yourself standing before an old weathered doorway.
It is set into a stone wall and covered in climbing ivy.
This door has been here a long time.
Quiet,
Unnoticed,
And yet something about it feels so familiar.
It's as though it's been waiting for you.
So you reach out and gently open it.
And as you step through,
You enter this beautiful hidden garden.
It's a place that's untouched by urgency,
Untouched by expectation.
The air is so soft,
It's carrying the faint scent of blossoms that are now open.
And the light here is gentle,
Golden,
Gentle,
Resting on everything it touches.
So you begin to walk slowly now.
And you notice how nothing here is rushing.
There are some flowers that are fully open,
Resting in their fullness.
But others are still closed,
Waiting.
And some,
They are only just beginning.
Delicate,
Unfolding,
Petal by beautiful petal.
And just take a deep breath in.
Feel the fragrance filling your body as you breathe out,
Letting go.
And as you move deeper into this garden,
You realize this is not somewhere outside of you,
But this is within you.
Every part of you that is still growing,
Still healing,
Still becoming is right here.
It's unfolding,
Evolving,
Exactly as it needs to.
And here in this quiet place,
Everything is simply being what it is,
In the moment that it is in.
And you are allowed that same gentleness,
That same quiet,
That same peace.
You are allowed to be in this moment right now.
Beautiful.
Let's just take a breath here.
Rest in that stillness.
And as you breathe out,
Just allow your body to soften even more.
And perhaps these words from Ralph Waldo Emerson can settle softly within you.
Adopt the pace of nature.
Her secret is patience.
Just let those words settle into your heart.
Now gently begin to repeat within.
I am not behind.
I am unfolding in my own time.
There is wisdom in my pace.
Even now,
Something beautiful is becoming.
Let each of these affirmations sink in like water reaching the roots.
And just let the words echo throughout your being.
Wonderful.
Now as you stand in this garden,
Just notice what feels different.
Just a softening,
A quiet shift.
A sense that you don't have to force your way forward.
Because you can begin again from exactly where you are right in this beautiful moment.
Just take a moment to reflect.
Breathe.
And simply be.
Become aware of your breath again.
Just breathing softly.
Notice the flow in and out.
Become aware of your body,
The space around you.
And remember that you are carrying something of this garden with you.
You're not leaving it behind.
But knowing you can return here whenever you need.
So take a deeper breath in.
And a slow,
Complete exhale.
Roll your shoulders if that feels good.
Give yourself a gentle stretch.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
And just like me,
You are not rushing into bloom.
You are arriving there.
Softly.
Beautifully.
In your own time.
Namaste,
My friend.
