We all experience emotions we find difficult. In interesting times like these, uncertainty about the future can distract us from a present moment that is otherwise a great place to be, if only my mind would shut up! If you are tempted to avoid the inner difficulty by distracting yourself with food, shopping, a drink, or 3, or a million other things we might do to make ourselves feel better, it won’t go away for long.
