We all get stressed out sometimes and when we do get stressed,

A beautiful antidote,

A beautiful way to calm ourselves and heal ourselves is to bring in gratitude.

Gratitude can heal our minds and our bodies and it can also bring in magic,

Unexpected magic.

Help us to remember the truth of who we are and what we came here to do.

So let's take some time to ground into gratitude.

Take a moment to get comfortable.

Feel yourself being held by whatever it is you're sitting on.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes and inhale deeply as you rock your shoulders up and back and down.

Maybe you want to let your head shift from side to side and open your jaw and even stick out your tongue.

Take some deep breaths as you shake your hands out,

Shake your shoulders out,

Shake your brain out and really authentically I want you to enter into your stillness.

Approaching your stillness with curiosity.

Welcoming it to come meet you.

We're not trying to hit some perfect mark,

Some perfect meditation posture.

We're not all trying to be statues of the Buddha even though that's really beautiful.

I want you to be authentic with yourself so if you need to move a little bit,

If you need to stretch a little bit as we meditate,

I welcome you to do that.

I'd like for you to imagine a big beautiful grounding cord.

This grounding cord can be anything you want to work with today.

A big beautiful tree,

A waterfall,

A puppy tail.

Whatever it is that you feel like working with today,

Whatever you feel like grounding with today.

Just simply imagine,

Sense or feel your grounding cord connecting with the base of your spine and traveling down through all the layers and the textures and the colors of our beautiful planet Earth.

See your grounding cord really wide,

Wide in all directions.

Maybe you even sense,

Hear or feel your grounding cord rooting into the center of the planet.

Connecting your base,

Your creative center,

Your spine to the earth,

Your home.

And really see this grounding cord or sense this grounding cord as being yours.

This is your space.

Maybe you want to write your name on it.

Maybe there's some decoration that really feels true to you.

Whatever it is,

Allow yourself the sensation of enjoying being held and supported by the earth.

And breathe.

And as you breathe,

Let your breath be filled with gratitude.

Filling your lungs,

Opening your heart,

Opening your throat with the energy of gratitude.

Being thankful for your life,

For this opportunity to sit,

To grow,

To transform.

And maybe you want to bring in some joy as well with that gratitude.

I'll have the gratitude with a side of joy.

And let that combination of joy and gratitude breathe into your body.

Seeing joy and gratitude circulate around inside of your body.

Can you bring it to places where you may feel some tension?

Can you meet the thoughts that bubble up with gratitude and joy and release them?

And notice when you're ready to get specific around what you're grateful for.

And maybe it's something very simple.

Maybe I'm just grateful for today.

Maybe I'm just grateful for the chair that I'm sitting on.

And start with what calls to you.

And breathe as you acknowledge what you're grateful for in your life.

You can keep it simple and continue to allow your gratitude to circulate inside of your body as you're grounded and connected to the earth.

Let it be delicious.

And I'd like for you to imagine a big beautiful bubble over the top of your head bringing in all of you to this moment.

Magnetizing your whole self into this moment and giving your whole self the sensation,

The energy of gratitude.

And breathe as you imagine this bubble moving down into your body and getting really large and filling up every part of your body,

Every part of your being with fresh delicious gratitude.

And when you're ready you can wiggle your fingers and your toes.

You can stretch your arms up over your head.

Shake your shoulders a little bit and gently begin to open your eyes.

Walking into the rest of your day or your evening with a reset and a refresh.

Feeling gratitude for this beautiful life of yours.
