Gratitude affirmations for sensitive folks.
A lot of us are sensitive and at the holiday time it can be pretty challenging to hold our own space,
To feel comfortable in our own skin.
So here's a little short practice to just drop in to your own space to bring some extra gratitude and self-love in as a little treat for yourself in this holiday.
Really grounding ourselves to know that we can carry our light and hold our love in whatever situation we're in.
So take a moment to just settle in,
Take some deep breaths,
Feel yourself held in this moment and start to draw yourself in.
Imagining that you can call yourself home to yourself,
Calling yourself back from the future,
Calling yourself back from the past,
Drawing yourself into present moment,
Bringing yourself into awareness.
And I invite you to think of something that brings you joy.
Maybe it's even just to have a few moments to sit down and do this.
Maybe it's the flowers in bloom,
The changing of the leaves on the trees.
Maybe it's the smell of something delicious or the laughter of your best friend.
Or maybe it's just a really funny line from your favorite movie.
Whatever it is,
I invite you to allow this joy,
This sensation to come into your body.
Breathing in appreciation,
Releasing stress.
Breathing in gratitude for your life and surrendering anxiety.
Breathing in your own special medicine and releasing expectations.
And as you move forward in the rest of your life,
In your day or in your evening,
I invite you to feel your worthiness.
Feel and know how special you are and walk with peace,
Love,
Gratitude,
And self-acceptance.
You can stretch your fingers and your toes.
You can yawn and even open your mouth and stick out your tongue.
