Good morning.
Today,
For our morning meditation,
We'll be focusing on morning bliss.
I'll invite you to find a comfortable seated position.
Taking this time to notice the surface beneath you.
Now really rooting into the surface.
See if you can lengthen the spine.
Reaching out of the sit bones,
Lengthening all the way to the top crown of the head.
The spine is upright,
But soft.
Open,
But not rigid.
Present.
Aware.
Alert.
If it's okay with you,
You can allow the eyes to fall shut.
Or you can gently lower the gaze.
Starting to find your breath.
Meeting yourself where you're at.
You might feel a bit tired this morning.
You may be feeling alert and awake,
Ready to start your day.
Just notice,
Without judgment,
Without trying to fix anything.
Without thinking that you should be somewhere.
That you should feel alert and awake.
If you're not at that state at the moment.
There's no right or wrong.
No destination to be.
But just meeting yourself where you're at.
Allow it to be there.
Now noticing this morning,
What is one thing you can do to make your morning a little bit more at ease?
Maybe it's a morning coffee.
Maybe it's time without your phone.
Maybe it's journaling.
Or coming back into yourself.
Noticing the present moment.
Whatever it is.
Allow it.
Welcome it.
Ask yourself what you want to be feeling this morning.
Notice that it's possible for you It may seem easier said than done.
But allow this feeling to rise within the body.
As you breathe in,
Invite energy.
Presence and aliveness into the body.
And as you exhale.
Letting things grow.
Allow the body to soften.
As you inhale the inhaling energy.
Vitality.
Presence.
And as you exhale letting go of any negativity.
Any judgement?
Any harshness.
We'll take one more round of breath to take a deep inhale in.
Filling the lungs,
Creating space.
And as you exhale,
Let the body soften.
The mornings may be different for everybody.
We may love the mornings.
We may dread the mornings.
But whatever it is for you.
Tap back into this moment.
If you're tired,
Notice that tiredness.
Notice how it shows up within the body.
If you're awake and energetic and alert.
Same thing,
Notice it.
How is it present within the body?
Because I'm sure we all feel both,
Some days.
Some weeks.
Some months,
Depending on the phase of life that we're in.
Depending on what's going on in the outside world.
Some mornings may be harder to invite bliss.
Noticing this.
And gently coming back to the breath.
Coming back to the body.
Thanks for watching!
Allow the thoughts to flow.
Allow the thoughts to calm.
And with meditation,
We're not necessarily trying to get rid of youths.
We're noticing,
Bringing consciousness,
Bringing awareness into these areas and these parts of ourselves.
And as you notice,
As you sit here in the present moment,
Can we feel into this a little bit more?
Tapping into that bodily sensation.
Tapping into that felt sense noticing what it brings us.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
I'll invite you to take a few more rounds of breath.
You when the time is right.
You can gently wiggle the fingertips and the toes.
Maybe a full body stretch or some shoulder roll.
Whenever you're ready,
With absolutely no rush.
Gently open the eyes.
Coming back into the moment.
Thank you so much for listening to this meditation and I hope you have a great day ahead.
