Welcome.
This is a restorative healing meditation for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
In this practice,
We will ground ourselves and our bodies with a breathing exercise.
We will tap into our infinite light and love our true selves,
And we will expand this light and love support resources for those affected by the hurricane.
Let's begin by finding a seated position or any comfortable position,
And simply notice where your body meets support.
Let the ground holding you be a reminder that there is always tactile support underneath our bodies.
The strength of the earth is here to ground us in the present moment into our bodies.
Let's set the intention to send love,
Healing,
Strength,
Resources to those affected by the hurricane,
Offering them peace in this moment where all their needs are being met.
Once we have our intention to send healing and support,
Let's begin with a calming breath practice to help us release tension we're holding,
And we'll start off with a four-count inhale and a six-count exhale to activate our relaxation response.
Let's breathe out all our air together.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale for four.
Exhale for longer,
Maybe six counts.
Maybe eight counts.
Continue on your own for four rounds,
Inhaling to four,
And allowing your exhale to be longer than your inhale.
As you exhale,
Imagine that you are releasing any fear,
Stress,
And tension out of your body and into the earth.
And as you inhale,
Visualize,
Sense,
Or feel that you're breathing in a soft,
Warm light.
With each inhale,
Your body fills with a radiant,
Healing presence.
And with each exhale,
Letting go of all tension.
Letting go of any tension.
Allowing a sense of calm,
Safety,
Peace,
Warmth to fill your entire being.
And allowing any worries or fears to dissolve with each exhale.
Let your loving,
Present breath be a reminder of the resilience within you and the resilience within us all.
And now,
We will begin to send out this warm,
Healing energy beyond our body.
Beyond our body.
So with each inhale,
More radiant light fills your being.
With each exhale,
This light releases beyond your body in every direction.
Continue breathing in warmth,
Light,
Compassion,
Filling your whole being.
On the exhale,
Visualize this light releasing into every direction beyond your body.
Visualize this light expanding,
Reaching out from the center of your being.
The center of your heart to those affected by the hurricane.
See it wrapping around their homes,
Communities,
And all those that are in need of comfort,
Support,
And resources.
Picture this light giving them the strength to rebuild,
To heal,
To find peace.
Three more breaths sending this healing,
Collective energy to those in need.
Three more breaths sending this healing,
Collective energy to those in need.
Deep,
Slow,
Diaphragmatic belly breaths.
As this healing light moves throughout these areas,
See the earth restoring itself,
Homes being rebuilt,
Families and friends reuniting,
All the resources they need to proceed in the next steps of cleanup,
Of rebuilding.
Let's take three breaths to send this healing light throughout these areas,
Seeing the earth restoring itself.
Imagine communities coming together with strength,
Resilience,
Supporting one another with love and kindness,
And those that are able to offer this healing light.
Love and kindness and those that are able to offer resources,
Help in whichever way they can.
Visualize the power of mother earth restoring itself,
Restoring herself back to harmony and balance to all those affected.
Visualize the courage in the hearts of those who are rebuilding.
They're surrounded by love,
Compassion,
Strength to move forward.
Trust in this healing process for the earth and the communities,
The people.
And now we will move into some affirmations,
Some blessings for these communities.
You can either repeat them in your mind,
In your heart,
Or say them out loud as we offer unconditional love,
Support through these affirmations.
May all those affected by Hurricane Helene find peace and healing.

May they be happy and at ease.
May they feel loved and supported.
May they be surrounded by love and strength.
May they rebuild with courage,

Taking a few breaths to send unconditional loving-kindness with your words,
Your breath,
And your energy for the next three breaths.
And starting to deepen your breath.
Noticing the energy in your heart space,
Feeling your own body with peace,
Feeling your own mind with peace,
Your own heart with unconditional love,
And allowing that radiate from your being.
And know that as we sit here and raise our vibration and tune in to the truth of who we are,
This love and light and presence,
We are making a difference in this simple meditation.
Whatever difference you can make,
Whatever difference you can make,
You offer is enough.
As we send these blessings to those that are in need right now,
We allow all their needs to be met,
All the resources to be at hand for them,
All the help that they need,
That they receive.
And we give thanks.
We give thanks for these blessings that they are heard,
And they are delivered,
And they are done.
Feel your feet on the floor and the support of the earth underneath your body.
Feel the strength in your own body as you bring your hands to prayer.
