Welcome.
This is a guided healing meditation for grief where you can be exactly as you are with how you're feeling mentally,
Emotionally,
And physically.
You'll go through a guided relaxation to become aware of how we are feeling and we'll allow ourselves the space to feel so that we can heal.
Let's begin by lying on our backs and finding a grounding position with your back flat against the floor.
Take a few deep releasing breaths in through your nose,
Out through an open mouth,
In through your nose,
Out through a mouth.
Last time let's begin by checking in with how the body is.
Notice all the muscles in the face and where you're holding tension.
Notice your neck,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Your chest,
Your belly,
Your legs.
Mentally scan your body a few times,
Noticing where the body is holding tension,
Sensation,
And see if you can take a few conscious breaths into these areas.
Breathing life force wherever you're feeling sensation,
Letting your body know it's safe to relax,
It's safe to release,
It's safe to feel.
And now move your awareness to the space in your heart center.
Take a few deep breaths,
Expanding your chest.
Sense your heart space expands with the in-breath as if you could breathe into the center of your chest.
As you exhale,
Breathe out into all directions,
To the right,
To the left,
Above and below your heart,
Expanding the heart space with each breath.
Become aware of any feelings you've been carrying on the heart,
Any feelings of sadness or grief,
Anger,
Disappointment,
Guilt,
Whatever's been on the heart.
Let your breath bring loving presence into every cell of your being.
However you've been feeling is okay.
Your heart has the ability to be a loving presence to whatever is passing through you.
And now move your awareness to the space between your eyebrow center and become aware of the thoughts,
Any thoughts that have been causing you distress,
Been weighing down on you,
Causing tension in the body.
See if you can observe those thoughts from a distance.
Observe that there's you and then there's your thoughts.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the pure consciousness,
The presence in which all the thoughts pass.
And allow these thoughts to be there.
Witness them.
And breathe into them.
Breathe into the space between your eyebrows with a full breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Breathe out through the back of your head.
Release those thoughts into the earth.
Let them be transmuted by the power and the strength of the mother earth.
Let the earth hold you and recycle these thoughts into thoughts that are not your thoughts.
Recycle these thoughts into thoughts that can help you heal,
Into thoughts that serve your highest good,
Into thoughts that are supporting for you.
And from this awareness of how our body,
Our heart,
And our mind are,
And with this conscious breath,
Let's breathe into our entire being with a deep breath in.
Exhale out.
And a deep breath in.
Exhale out.
Deep breath in.
Exhale out.
Now on these next breaths,
I invite you to bring a healing presence of light and expansion and unconditional love into every cell of your body.
And let this unconditional love hold you and support you.
Three deep breaths of love and light.
Deep breath in.
And out.
Whatever you are going through,
Know that you are not alone.
You are held by the strength of the earth and the loving embrace of your true nature.
You are always loved and supported.
And may you heal in your own time,
In your own space,
By being gentle and kind,
Compassionate with yourself through your process.
