Acceptance?
What's that?
I mean,
We hear it all the time and everybody just tells us,
Accept it.
But what if we don't want to?
Well,
Acceptance is a very important pillar in mindfulness.
And it's just like,
I mean,
I try to apply it in my life,
But it's just so hard.
So I just explain it to myself when I just talk to myself.
And I just say,
That's it.
This is my life.
I accept it.
But it doesn't mean I have to stay this way.
It doesn't mean my life has to continue this way just because it has been like this,
Literally my whole life.
No,
Accept it.
Say forget it.
And try to make a difference.
Try to change.
If your challenge is to start going to the gym to lose weight,
I mean,
Accept your amazing body.
But if you want to live a little bit healthier,
Hey,
Go to the gym.
But accept your body and love yourself.
Love your body.
Love who you are.
Because that's the only way things will change.
Even if you're in a challenging relationship,
And things don't go your way,
And things in your love life have not gone your way,
Accept it and then try to change.
Become aware of what's happening and try to change.
Acceptance is the first step.
Stop being so hard on yourself.
