So today we're going to do things a little bit differently.
I'm going to ask you to have a piece of paper and a pen or a pencil because I'm going to ask you to write down a few things.
I'm going to ask you to reflect,
To reflect something that has happened in your life.
So we're going to talk about patience.
But what is patience?
I mean,
As humans,
We always want things now.
I mean,
Right now.
And tomorrow is too late.
And it's not like that.
And it's something that I had to learn.
I always like to talk about my experiences because I'm not perfect.
And as I've explained before,
What is perfection?
Anyways,
That's not what we're going to talk about.
We're going to talk about patience.
And recently,
I had to face that patience.
I wanted to do something.
I wanted to launch a journal and I wanted to do it now.
But everything kept going wrong.
The designer took forever.
There were a lot of things that needed to be corrected.
And she took a long time to make those corrections.
We didn't agree on a lot of things.
But then after that,
Trying to get the journal published,
It was a mess.
And I wanted my journal now.
Not even that.
I had hired someone to help me co-edit the book.
And well,
She didn't have much time.
And that's what I noticed.
I noticed that I had to learn one of the most important principles about mindfulness,
Which is patience.
Which means that everything happens when it's supposed to happen.
And that sometimes we forget.
And when we forget,
We get anxious,
We get frustrated because we want things now.
And if we have to wait,
Wow.
That's crazy.
And I had to learn to wait.
I had to learn that the journal was going to launch when it was supposed to happen.
And it took five months,
Literally.
But it had to happen in this time.
And once I realized that,
I was so grateful.
So grateful because timing was perfect.
And that's something that we have to understand.
That timing is perfect.
The universe is perfect.
And they know when we're supposed to do something.
So if you have a project,
Or if you're thinking about doing something,
Or anything,
And it's just not happening,
Well,
It's because you had to learn patience.
But I'm not saying that you have to stop doing it.
For example,
If I have a project,
I'm going to stop working on it because things are not happening.
No,
I'm saying that you can still do it.
You can still work on it.
But if it doesn't happen,
It's okay.
It's to accept those things.
Stop working on it,
But accept that it's not the right time.
That's what I'm trying to tell you today.
I'm trying to tell you that the universe is perfection,
The real definition of perfection.
And it knows when you're supposed to do something,
Or when something's going to happen.
And that's what we're going to do today.
We're going to reflect on how we have reacted when we haven't been patient.
So on that piece of paper,
Take a couple deep breaths into your nose and out through your mouth.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And I would like you to write,
Write a time when you weren't patient.
How did that make you feel?
And what did you learn?
Take a moment to reflect,
To meditate,
To learn.
Write it down.
Writing always helps.
If you don't want to write it down,
It's okay.
You can say it.
What did you learn from it?
What did you learn from it means?
Well,
Why wasn't it supposed to happen when you wanted it to happen?
And how did you feel?
Well,
It means if you were stressed out or if you were anxious,
Do you want to feel that way again?
Or can you just accept things the way they are?
I'm not saying give up.
I'm saying have patience.
Let things flow.
Keep working on it.
You can always pause this audio.
Now take another deep breath into your nose and out through your mouth.
When you finish,
Take another deep breath into your nose and out through your mouth.
I hope this exercise was useful for you.
It's important to reflect,
To sit down and to see and not live in that automatic pilot.
Thank you for listening.
Thank you for supporting my audios.
I'm sending you lots of virtual love and light.
Namaste.
