In these 10 minutes you'll be able to stop the demands of the outside world and tune into your own needs. You'll check-in with yourself, just like you'd check-in with a good friend. To acknowledge what goes on within and prioritize yourself with your real needs, not the needs of others.

So let's begin with a couple of deep breaths that let you experience your body from the inside out,

Letting your body relax and beginning to feel your feet firmly planted,

Or if you're cross-legged,

Just your bottom firmly on your cushion,

Your chair,

And feel how the earth is supporting you,

Feeling heavy,

Loose,

And relaxed,

Allowing the relaxation to travel of the body,

Of the legs,

The hips,

The stomach,

The lower back,

Upper back,

Relaxing the shoulders,

The arms,

The neck,

The face,

And the skull.

Feel the entire body relaxing,

Feeling comfortable,

And turning your attention inward,

Even more deeply inside,

Deep inside to find the answer to,

How am I feeling right now?

And without planning for an answer,

Can you let your honest self come forward and experience how you feel right now?

And how do you feel in this stage of your life right now?

Are you satisfied with the way that you are leading your life?

And we all have different desires and different standards of how a successful life is.

And in today's meditation,

I want you to come face to face with how you're leading yourself,

Your body,

Your spirit,

Through this life.

And to do that,

I want you to imagine yourself at the very end of this life,

And maybe at an older age than what you've ever imagined living in this body,

Without any fears,

But instead with a deep,

Felt sense of what you've accomplished.

So call into mind all the accomplishments,

The special connections,

And the big satisfactions.

Just focus on the good things,

On your contributions,

And the good things you are giving this world.

Let yourself remember all the things as you review your life.

And now ask yourself,

Is there anything you wish you would have given yourself that you didn't?

If you had the chance to live your life again,

What would you prioritize?

What would be the one thing you'd start allowing yourself to experience?

Prioritizing yourself means responding to your real desires.

And when you deprive yourself from what you need,

Your body suffers,

Your mind suffers,

And your life suffers.

Come close to how you feel and ask yourself daily,

How can I nurture myself today?

And maybe this means stopping a behavior,

Or beginning a new behavior,

Or pausing before you engage in any draining relationship or conversation.

Or maybe nurturing yourself today means taking a longer shower,

Or letting others hear your voice,

Your needs,

Your desires.

How can I nurture myself today?

How do I prioritize myself right now?

It will soon be time to come back to this present time into your body today.

So remember what is priority for you.

Because prioritizing yourself can allow for the rest of the things to fall into their right place,

Making things easier and effortless.

So allow yourself the time to prioritize you every day of the rest of your life.

Deepening your breath,

Beginning to move the body slowly,

Feeling the body with clarity and with excitement about what's coming.

And opening the eyes when you're ready.

Welcome back.
