Welcome.

I'm glad you're here.

Today we're going to dive deeper to your true self.

How do you know when you are being true to yourself?

You know your authentic self and your expression in this world is a reflection of who you think you are.

In the core of you,

There is a familiarity that can now be recognized.

This familiar sense to the self that you already know very well,

But sometimes you may forget.

Or you may feel disconnected from it because of so many hats that you have to wear while performing in your life.

Being a sister or a brother or a co-worker,

A mom or dad,

A teacher,

A friend or whatever the hat you are wearing.

We become disconnected from that familiar state that exists when we are being our true selves.

We can reconnect with it over and over again,

Which is what you'll be practicing daily by listening to this audio.

And what you practice becomes stronger.

But what happens when you are not meditating,

When you are actually in the world,

Interacting and wearing all those hats that others may be expecting from you?

How can you honor your authenticity as you express yourself in the world?

We're going to work on having trust when we are expressing and make sure to always honor who you are at the very core when you are interacting with others and with the world.

Begin to settle into your seat and make sure you are in a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed.

Find that gentle part of you that holds your truth.

And begin to let the air into the nose and out of the mouth for three cycles.

Long and slow breaths,

Allowing for your lungs to be filled all the way.

Now we're going to take three more breath cycles,

But now we will hold the air in and let it out slowly.

And we'll do this through the nose.

But make sure your breaths are still long and slow,

Allowing for the breath to relax the body,

Feeling the weight of the body grounding you into the earth.

Take a deep breath in.

Hold your breath.

And let it out through the nose.

Take a deep breath in and hold.

And let it out through the nose.

And one more time,

Deep breath in,

Hold.

Let it out through the nose.

Sense how your seat is supported and how your body experiences all the sensations coming from the breath.

There's nothing to do at this time.

This is your time.

Get quiet,

Get peaceful,

Get some rest.

Just for these next few minutes.

And the more you focus on the body,

The more the mind gets quiet.

Using your imagination,

You're going to see a small and beautiful grassy hill in front of you with flowers and a clear blue sky.

You can see some fluffy clouds in that blue sky.

And each cloud represents one of your past memories,

A special memory when you have expressed yourself genuinely in the world,

Honoring your essence.

So each cloud is charged with your unique stamp,

Your authentic expression.

So you get interested and curious about these clouds.

You take off your shoes and start enjoying your peaceful climb towards the hill.

Feeling each step in your bare feet,

You can smell the subtle breeze that seems to get a little stronger as you approach the top of the hill.

When you arrive to the top,

You can see that the clouds look closer,

So you find a place to rest the body where you can lie down and pick the first cloud that catches your eye.

And as soon as you look at the cloud,

You sense a quality in you that is activated by this cloud,

A quality that other people can easily recognize in you.

And you look closer at this cloud and a clear image starts to form,

An image of you expressing that quality in your life.

And you can actually sense in your body right now the exact same sensations and emotions that you feel when you are being truthful to your authentic expression.

What do you see in you?

What is the look in your face?

How are you moving your body?

And if there's anyone with you,

How are you interacting with them?

Now that you have relived this experience in detail in your mind's eye and in your body,

You want to create more of these experiences in your amazing life.

So you get ready to float up to one of those clouds.

You start feeling lighter and lighter and trusting yourself and your guidance during this short journey.

You begin to deepen your breath very gently,

Lengthening each inhale to fill your lungs completely and releasing the air slowly as you exhale.

Another deep breath in.

Release the air slowly.

Using your imagination,

You notice that with each exhale,

Your body gets lighter and lighter and you start floating up until you get to one big fluffy cloud where you rest your body and feel completely safe.

Floating and flying in this cloud,

You're able to feel those qualities within you.

You are able to embody your authentic expression.

You can feel yourself and it feels very easy for you to see this expression as you live your life.

So you imagine a situation in your life when you normally struggle,

A situation when you would normally react to others.

And you can see how your authenticity can help you with this experience of flow.

You are not reactive.

Instead,

You can detach from expectations and from past conditioning to flow with the truth of this situation in a way that's beneficial for you and for anyone that's with you.

Stay here for a few moments,

Absorbing all the goodness that you feel when you are connected with your authentic self,

Free of any expectations.

Take it all in.

Now you're ready to come down and your cloud starts floating down until your body is placed over the green grass.

You realize that what happened is already part of your subconscious mind.

And you thank your guidance and your subconscious mind for reminding you of this because every time you experience your true self,

Your true self gets stronger and it's easier to access.

I'm going to count from 1 to 3 and when I finish,

You will begin to move your body carefully and you open your eyes.

Move your body and open your eyes,

Feeling great and alert.

It is unfair that this meditation didn’t last longer because I was floating in the clouds! Thank you so much for this beautiful meditation; it took me out of a dark place and back into the light, confident. For sure saving this one on repeat!
