Finding alignment can happen when you flow with your true expression, regardless of the environment you're in. Flow with the experiences you have by honoring your honest expression. In this way, you will move in the direction you're meant to move for your greatest good, and the greatest good of everyone around you.

In today's meditation we'll be practicing alignment and this is being recorded outside so you can enjoy the sounds of nature.

Being into alignment with my truth means to flow with my true expression in the environment I'm in.

And I want to ask you to trace back in your own mind and ask yourself,

Why are you here?

What's important for you?

What made you decide to work with your subconscious mind and create what really matters in your life?

Begin to connect with that soft and soothing breath.

Letting the breath relax your body.

Breathing in trust.

Breathing out worry.

Breathing in your true expression.

Breathing out tension.

Breathing in self-compassion.

Breathing out expectations.

Breathing in alignment.

Breathing out the idea of perfection.

And as the mystic Anthony de Mello said,

Enlightenment is absolute cooperation with the inevitable.

So notice what experience comes to mind when you hear that phrase,

An absolute cooperation with the inevitable.

That happens when you're not resisting,

When you are not reacting,

When you're not trying to be someone else,

When you are not judging how you're doing things.

This is cooperation.

When you are cooperating,

When you are responding,

When you are connecting with your true self,

And when you're learning as you do the things you do in your life,

You begin to align with what is,

With the way life flows.

Keep this experience of when you are in absolute cooperation with what's inevitable and see if you can feel that sense of flow in your own body.

Now I'd like for you to relax the body and let the mind be free from repeating a story,

Letting go of the tension in the muscles and watching how the thoughts pass through without following them like a dog follows a strong scent.

Just let that thought go and let the body melt into the seat or into the bed and bring your attention to the breath again,

Letting the air in and holding it.

Let the air out with the intention of release.

One more time,

Let the air in and hold it and let the air out with a sense of release.

One last time on your own,

Let the air in.

I'll count from 5 to 1 and when I reach number 1,

You'll be so relaxed that you will have direct access to the flow of life that speaks,

The flow of life that keeps you alive,

That keeps your heart beating.

Letting yourself go with the flow,

2 and 1,

So relaxed that you haven't felt this way in a long time.

What are some ways that you use to remove yourself from alignment?

What are your strategies to remove yourself from the alignment of life,

Of the life that wants to flow and let this information,

This knowing of your own strategy arise to the surface and see it for what it is,

Just the opportunity to get back into the flow of life,

The way life wants to flow.

And I want you to pick one area of your life where you know you need to find these opportunities to get back into alignment more often and quicker.

So see yourself and feel yourself when you are not in absolute cooperation with the inevitable.

How do you feel?

And now that you know how to get back into alignment,

I want you to see one of many possibilities for you to flow,

One of many opportunities for you to let life flow through you,

Through the situation and pick the first one that arises in your consciousness.

How are you flowing?

How are you aligning with that person,

With the situation or your condition at that moment and feel it inside your body,

The flow of life helping you get into alignment.

Know the natural flow of things and create a map of sensations for you to know how to get here whenever you need to create alignment again.

Savor the flow of energy that goes through you,

Through your vibrant body and stay here for a few moments.

Let this experience be who you decide to be from now on whenever you find a challenge in front of you.

Savor this map back into the flow of life and when you are ready to begin to offer gratitude to the source of energy that keeps your heart beating and bringing goodness to your life,

You may begin to move the body as I count from 1 to 3,

1,

2 and 3.

You may open the eyes and welcome back.
