Hi,
I'm Tylee,
And welcome to our daily meditation.
This meditation is intended to bring you into the present moment,
Come back to your center,
And to find ease in the body.
For this meditation,
I'm going to recommend sitting up tall,
Either on the floor or in a chair.
Bring alertness to the spine.
Get comfortable in your body.
Start to breathe in your nose and out your mouth.
Soften your gaze and close your eyes.
Lift your heart.
Relax your shoulders.
And notice the sounds around you.
As you start to breathe more deeply,
Allow the sounds to beat.
Notice the temperature of the air as it brushes against your skin.
Allow the sensations in your body.
Take note of any parts of your body that are in contact with the ground.
Draw your awareness to your root,
The chair underneath you,
And grow a little taller from that space.
Check in with yourself.
What do you notice?
Bring your awareness.
Breathing into your nose,
And out your nose or your mouth.
How are you feeling today?
Find your heart space.
The center of your chest.
Breathe into your heart.
And let it go.
Shifting your awareness to the emotions you may feel.
Trying not to label or name.
Getting in touch with the deeper self.
Can you notice what you're feeling and just be present in that emotion?
You are not your thoughts.
You are not your emotions.
You're the vehicle in which they move through.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
And shifting your awareness to this physical body,
Your beautiful body.
Do you notice aches or pains in your body today?
Stiffness?
Tension?
Breathe into that space.
Allow your body to soften.
Continue to follow your breath.
And allow yourself to weave these last few moments together.
Stay connected to your breath.
Following every inhale.
Softening every exhale.
I'll guide us out.
Gently beginning to deepen.
Bringing awareness back to your spine.
Lift your heart.
Relax your shoulders.
