Hi,
I'm Tylee and welcome to our daily meditation.
Today's meditation is on self-forgiveness.
My intention for this meditation is for you to come home to yourself,
To acknowledge the beautiful being that you are and all of the steps it took to get you here.
So let's start in a comfortable seat or lying down.
Please take the moments you need to get truly comfortable.
So untuck the glutes so the sitz bones are nice and grounded if you are on your seat or if you're on the back,
Snuggle the shoulder blades underneath you,
Maybe bend your knees so you're not gripping or holding any area of your body.
And once you've come to your resting position,
Take a few moments here to settle.
Soften your gaze or close your eyes and begin to notice your breath.
Notice the quality of your breath today.
How are you breathing?
And as we drop in,
Let's begin to breathe together.
Exhaling out,
Releasing any air tension that's in your lungs.
Releasing any air tension that's in your lungs.
The next breath,
Breathe in through your nose,
Full deep breath in.
And exhale,
Sigh it out.
Let it go.
No more like that.
Big breath in.
Big breath out.
Soften your forehead,
Release your jaw,
And continue breathing here in this space.
So what is self-forgiveness?
We talk about forgiving other people when they've done us wrong or forgiving people when they've hurt our heart.
But what is self-forgiveness?
Every relationship we have in this world,
In this life,
Stems from the relationship you carry with yourself.
How do you treat yourself?
Do you enjoy and love the person you are and are part of?
Do you enjoy and love the person you are and are becoming?
Do you trust yourself?
Some days these questions are much easier to answer than others.
So today's a harder day.
I got you.
Let's breathe.
Continuing your deep,
Steady breath.
Emotion and sensation may begin to rise.
Don't run.
Turn toward how you feel.
What do you notice?
Taking the time to sit with yourself and listen is one of the most loving things you can do for you.
You are not the thoughts and emotions that cycle through your body.
We can take the time to acknowledge them,
Say thank you for being here,
And let them float by like clouds.
You're an incredible human being.
You are here to do great things,
However big or small.
You are here for a reason.
You are here for a reason.
You are deeply loved and accepted.
You are enough.
Let's take a few moments to sit and be with the emotions that rise.
And I'll come back and we'll close with some affirmations to settle in to your subconscious.
Stay with your breath.
I am breathing in.
I am breathing out.
Keeping the eyes closed.
Silently or quietly repeat these affirmations to yourself.
I am worthy and necessary of being seen.
I am deeply loved and accepted.
I forgive myself.
I love myself.
I break free from the chains of my fears.
I will no longer carry the weight of my past.
I open my heart and allow in joy.
I am at peace,
Centered,
And safe.
I deeply love and accept myself.
Whether these affirmations feel true or forced,
They're still sinking in to your subconscious,
Your deep-rooted soul.
Come back to this meditation whenever you need a refill of that love and care for yourself.
Thank you for taking the time to practice with me.
I hope you have a beautiful day and I'll see you soon.
Namaste.
