Welcome to our whole body alignment meditation.
This is a practice for reconnecting to your body,
Your truth,
And your rhythm.
So welcome in.
This is a gentle invitation to slow down.
And reconnect with yourself as a whole human being.
Not just your mind or your body.
But the full system that makes you,
You.
You don't need to fix anything during this practice.
You're simply listening.
We'll begin by finding a comfortable position to be in for the next few moments.
Maybe that's seated or lying down.
And allow your hands to rest naturally wherever feels best.
If it feels comfortable.
Gently close your eyes.
And take a slow breath in through your nose.
And gently exhale out your nose or your mouth.
Again,
Slow inhale in.
And a long,
Easy exhale out.
And allow the breath to settle into a natural rhythm.
As you continue to breathe,
Bring your awareness to the state of your nervous system.
Right now,
In this moment.
Gently notice the pace of your body.
Notice the pace of your thoughts.
And allow there to be just awareness.
No judgment.
And as you gently scan your nervous system,
Ask yourself quietly,
How does my nervous system feel today?
Busy tired.
.
.
Calm,
Maybe on edge.
Whatever you notice is valid.
This is very helpful information.
Now take one slow breath.
In and out.
And imagine your body receiving a signal of safety.
Your shoulders may soften.
Allow your jaw to unclench.
You may notice the breath deepening slightly.
Do your best to not force calm.
But to create a little more space.
And bring your awareness to the physical body.
The places that feel alive.
Notice the places within your body that feel tight.
Bring your awareness to the places that feel quiet or distant.
Your body is always communicating with you.
And often we simply move too fast to hear what's going on.
Come back to your breath.
And ask your body gently.
What do you need?
Body what are you asking for lately?
Are you seeking more rest?
More movement.
Maybe more space.
Let the answer come without trying to analyze it.
Just notice.
And shift your attention to nourishment.
Nourishment is much more than food.
It's what feeds your energy,
Your prana,
Your life force.
Your focus.
And your sense of stability.
Ask yourself.
Where in my life am I feeling nourished right now?
Where might I need more support,
More care,
More kindness and simplicity?
Let the body register the idea that nourishment is allowed.
In fact,
Nourishment.
Is necessary.
Soften your attention inward.
Beneath the thoughts.
Beneath the expectations.
There is acquired a voice inside you.
Your intuition lives deep within.
Ask yourself.
What quiet truth.
Is trying to reach me right now.
Come back to your breathing and just listen.
The answer may rise in words.
You may feel a sensation.
Or you may simply feel annoying.
Trust whatever arises.
Your body carries wisdom.
Finally,
Bring your awareness to.
.
.
The beliefs shaping this season of your life.
The stories you're telling yourself about who you need to be.
About how life should look in this moment.
Or maybe about where you are right now.
Gently leaning in.
Is there a belief I'm ready to soften?
Or maybe a new belief that wants to take root.
Perhaps something simple like,
I'm allowed to move at my own pace.
I'm learning as I go.
I can trust myself more than I even understand.
I am deeply loved.
And support it.
Let those beliefs or your newfound belief settle into your body.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And a full breath out.
And now imagine all five parts of your system.
Your nervous system,
Your body.
Your nourishment.
Your intuition.
And your mindset.
Working together.
Instead of pulling in different directions.
That is what whole body wellness really is.
There's no perfection.
No performing.
But seeking the truth.
And finding alignment from there.
When you're ready,
Take one final breath here.
And gently return your awareness to the room around you.
To the cushion or the floor beneath your seat or your body.
Move your fingers and your toes.
If your eyes are closed,
Open them when it feels right.
Carry this awareness with you.
As you move back into your day.
Return to this practice often.
And each time you do,
You're likely to hear something new.
Thank you.
For practicing with me.
Thank you for showing up for yourself.
I'll see you soon.
.
.
Namaste.
