Welcome to this guided meditation for experiencing the healing love of the universe embodied in the form of a river.
Find a comfortable sitting or lying position allowing yourself to settle into a space where you can fully relax and let go.
Take a moment to reconnect with your body and your breath.
Close your eyes gently and take a deep nourishing breath in allowing the air to fill your lungs.
As you exhale release all tension or any stress.
Take a few more deep breaths inhaling peace and exhaling releasing any worries.
Now bring your awareness to the sacred space within your heart.
This space within your heart is a sanctuary,
A place of inner stillness and connection.
As you continue to breathe deeply visualize a soft radiant light glowing within your heart directly back from the sternum.
This light represents your inner essence,
Your divine connection to the universe's love and healing energy.
With each breath this light grows brighter warming your heart and filling your being with a sense of peace and tranquility.
Allow this light to expand beyond your physical body creating a sphere of loving energy that surrounds you.
Feel yourself enveloped in its gentle embrace,
A cocoon of love and protection.
Visualize yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful wide river.
The water glistens in the sunlight inviting you to step in.
Feel a sense of anticipation and excitement as you approach the water's edge.
You take a moment and bow to the river with adoration and reverence.
You can ask for healing from this river in any manner that you may need.
You feel her calling you.
So first you step in only up to your feet.
You reach down to rinse your hands then gently cupping the water you wash your face and head with another handful.
Handful you take a small sip of the sweet healing water.
Now with each step you take into the river you can feel the temperature dropping as the frigid cold water touches your skin.
Embrace the sensation knowing that this river holds the healing love of the universe.
As you immerse your body feel the water's embrace enveloping you soothing your worries and cares.
As you stand fully immersed in the river's flow flow feel the water carrying away all your pain and suffering.
Feel the weight of these burdens lifted from your shoulders dissolving into the swift and powerful currents.
Rinsing your heart clean and elevating your mind you submerse your head multiple times and with each and every moment spent in the river's embrace you feel a sense of renewal and purification.
Visualize the water's pure essence infusing your body,
Heart,
And soul.
You know that every drop of water is a touch of divine grace washing away the old and making space for the new.
For the new.
As you begin to step out of the river notice how your body feels lighter,
Your heart unburdened,
And your spirit lifted.
You have emerged from the water's embrace with a renewed sense of self,
A fresh start.
You walk out of the river and begin drying yourself off and you notice that you feel elated and full of new life.
Before you leave turn back to face the river the source of your healing and express your gratitude with a heart full of appreciation.
As you gaze at the river see her transform form into a beautiful and radiant Mother Goddess.
Her very presence emanates limitless love and compassion surrounding you with her nurturing energy take a moment to bask in the warmth of her divine love knowing that you are forever connected to her healing embrace.
As you now walk away from the river carry her support and love within you.
Slowly return your awareness back to this present moment.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes feeling the sensation returning to your body.
When you are ready open your eyes eyes.
Carry the memory of this healing river with you,
A sanctuary of love and renewal that you can revisit whenever you need to cleanse your mind,
Heart,
And soul.
So the practice of meditation is now complete.
