If you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself or from others, this is the perfect visualization for you. We'll get in touch with nature where so much healing can happen and take a pause to reconnect and re-align with ourselves. For this visualization, I ask you to find a spot outside where you can stand barefoot on the earth. Whether that's in the grass, the dirt, or the sand. If you cannot access the outdoors right now, then find a safe, comfortable spot in your home where you can stand barefoot. Are there qualities that you want to embody or enhance within you? Like confidence, worth, and love. The energy from the earth will help to provide what we need to embody the qualities that we desire. Grounding in nature can have a biological and physiological effect on our minds and body. Let Mama Nature take care of you and help you to connect with all that you are. Happy Meditating!

Welcome to your guide to grounding visualization.

For this guided visualization you're gonna want to either be outside with your bare feet in the grass or on the dirt or in the sand or if you don't have access to being outside then I just want you to pick a place where you feel safe in your home and stand with your bare feet.

Now let's close our eyes take a deep inhale in through our nose and a long slow exhale out through the mouth.

Let's do this a few more times big inhale in through the nose and a long slow exhale out through the mouth.

You can continue this breathing for another few rounds at your own pace and as you're breathing I want you to bring your awareness down to your feet.

I want you to notice what you feel as you're standing strong on the earth.

Notice what the temperature is on the earth and how it feels on your the skin of your feet.

Notice the texture of the ground.

Now I want you to take notice to your other senses.

Think about what you hear,

The sounds that you hear,

Maybe you're hearing what's going on inside your body.

Think about the sense that you smell as you're taking deep breaths in and out.

What are those sense remind you of if anything.

Now let's imagine that we start walking.

As you start walking you can feel the texture of the ground underneath your feet.

Maybe you hear the crunching of your feet on the ground.

As you continue to walk you're gonna come to a door.

Now let's grasp the handle of this door and slowly push it open.

Now as you step over the threshold to the other side of the door you notice that you're still outdoors but you're in another place.

This place is your safe haven.

Now in your safe haven can have anything you want,

Any person you want,

Any trees or plants or bushes that you want,

Can even have any kind of colors that you want.

So I want you to first just take notice of what you can see.

This is your outdoor safe haven.

What's on the ground?

What's the texture of the ground in this space?

What colors do you see?

Now let's take our awareness to what we hear.

What sounds do you hear?

Now as you're getting accustomed to your new safe haven,

I want you to start walking.

As you're walking you notice a field in the distance.

Let's walk over to that field.

As you get closer you notice that there's this beautiful patch of luscious grass.

I want you to walk into this field with your bare feet and notice how this grass feels.

What color is the grass?

What does the grass smell like?

What does this field smell like?

Now allow yourself to just explore.

Notice any other plants or animals.

Maybe there's other people in this field with you.

And when you're ready,

I want you to find a nice comfortable spot in this field.

I want you to either sit down or lay down in the grass.

Now let's imagine in our safe haven that we're closing our eyes and we're really connecting to the earth.

Imagine that the grass is growing all around you,

Lightly winding up your arms and your legs,

Just gently as if it's giving you a little hug.

Now imagine that the energy from the earth is coming up through the grass,

Grass that's coiled around your body.

Now the energy from the earth as it's coiling up the grass onto your body,

Allow it to just sink into your skin.

Now allow it to flow throughout your whole body.

Notice how this feels.

Has it changed the temperature of your body?

Is there a color to this energy?

Maybe even a sound to this energy?

Hear what you hear,

Feel what you feel,

See what you see.

Allow this energy to cover every inch of your body from your muscles to your nerves,

Down into the bone.

Allow it to permeate every cell of your body.

Now as this energy is flowing throughout you,

Imagine some of the qualities that maybe you have but it's not as strong as you'd like,

Or maybe there are qualities that you've seen in somebody else that you would like to adopt into yourself.

That's what this energy from the earth is giving you,

These qualities.

Remember this is your safe haven.

You can have anything you want in here.

So think about qualities such as confidence,

Or self-love,

Or strength,

Or empowerment.

Think about what you want to embody today and allow that energy to flow throughout your whole body.

Allow the earth to give you this energy.

All right,

Now that you've allowed the earth to instill its energy and wisdom into you,

I want you to imagine that you are standing up on this forest floor with all of these new qualities within you.

I want you to take a moment to give thanks to the earth.

Give thanks to yourself for allowing yourself to accept what the earth had to offer you.

And I want you to turn around and start walking back towards the door that you came in from.

Notice how you feel now,

Now that you've experienced what the earth has to offer.

Notice how you feel with these new qualities running through your body.

As you get closer to the door,

Let's take another deep inhale.

Always soaking in these last few moments in your safe haven.

I want you to come to the door,

Turn the handle,

And push it open.

You're going to step through the other side.

Walk back over to where you're sitting or standing.

I want you to come back into your body.

As you start to bring a little movement into your hands,

Your toes,

I want you to notice how you feel,

How you feel having spent time allowing the earth to give you its energy.

I want you to bring your awareness back to your feet,

Whether they're outside on the earth,

Whether in your home,

On the floor.

I want you to just take a moment to bring awareness,

Come back to that texture,

Maybe the temperature of the ground.

You can take one more big inhale in through your nose,

Allow it to fill you up,

And slowly exhale out through your mouth.

When you're ready,

I want you to open your eyes.

You've done such a wonderful job on this journey.

You might want to now take some time to journal what came up.

Even if it's just a quick practice of writing down what qualities you came to embody in the visualization.

Think about how you can embody these qualities in your life today.

Thank you so much for grounding down with me.

I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
