Welcome to your guided meditation on positive affirmations.
Affirmations are wonderful practice for those of us who need a little extra daily encouragement.
So before we start I want you to find a comfortable position either sitting in a chair,
Sitting cross-legged on the floor,
Or laying down.
Let's start by tuning into our breath.
Start with long slow inhales in through the nose,
Bringing in oxygen and life into our body,
And then exhaling everything out through the mouth.
And again let's inhale filling up the body,
The chest,
The throat,
All the way up to the head,
And then exhaling it all out through the mouth.
Let's do that one more time together.
Inhale in through the nose,
Filling up the belly,
Filling up the chest,
Up through your throat,
Your face,
Up to the very top of your head,
And then exhale it all out through the mouth,
Starting from your head,
Your face,
Out through your chest,
And out of your belly.
Beautiful job.
I want you to repeat after me either out loud or in your mind these affirmations.
And after you speak each affirmation,
I want you to take notice of how your body,
Mind,
And soul reacts.
Now repeat after me.
I am growing at my own pace.
I am doing the work that works for me.
I am held and supported by those who love me.
I am loved and worthy.
I am optimistic because today is a new day.
I am peaceful and whole.
I am safe and surrounded by love and support.
I am valued and helpful.
I do all things in love.
I celebrate the good qualities in others and myself.
I have everything I need to succeed.
I invite abundance and a generous heart.
I nourish myself with kind words and joyful foods.
I allow myself to evolve.
My weirdness is wonderful.
There is growth and stillness.
When I forgive myself,
I free myself.
Now as we finish up with that final affirmation,
I want you to connect with your breath again.
And on every inhale,
I want you to imagine all those kind words you spoke to yourself are filling you up,
Every inch of your body,
Every piece of your soul.
Inhale in through your nose,
Breathing in all those kind words,
And then exhaling out through your mouth,
Allowing your body to relax and rest.
