Hello and welcome to Tranquil Sleep Meditation.
My name is Jacqueline and I am going to take you on a sleep journey where I will leave you to enjoy a tranquil night's sleep.
So if you are ready,
Let's get started.
Settle into your bed and move your body until you feel really comfortable.
Shift your legs and arms until they are in the best position for your night's sleep.
Pull your covers around you and feel their comfort as they cocoon you.
Now focus on your breath as you gently close your eyes.
Take a breath in as you hold for a second at the top and now slowly release that breath and another breath in.
Hold for a second and slowly release that breath.
Breathe steadily as you allow your body to relax.
Check your comfort.
Wriggle a little if necessary.
Get into the right position for you.
Comfort is key to relaxing and relaxing allows sleep to come.
Let's breathe one more time.
Take that breath in and hold for a second and release that breath and relax.
Take nice steady breaths as you relax your shoulders.
Relax your arms.
Relax your stomach.
Relax your legs.
As your body feels relaxed and heavy,
Nestle your head into your pillow and allow it to relax.
Relax your jaw as you allow your breath to flow gently.
You feel a warmth around you.
A warmth that is not from your bed covers.
It's a warmth like sunshine.
A comforting warmth.
A glow all around you.
In your mind you find yourself outside.
The warmth from the sun is all around you but it's not daytime,
It is the evening.
The warmth from the evening sun is comforting and relaxing.
The sun is beginning to set over the calmest sea you have ever seen.
The water glistens and shimmers and you breathe in the clean air.
Your body feels warm and content.
Your mind feels relaxed and clear.
You sit and watch the sun as it slowly disappears.
The glow is mesmerising.
It sends you into a calming trance.
You are feeling so relaxed.
You are feeling so tranquil.
You are feeling so calm.
You are feeling so sleepy.
The sun is slowly disappearing and its light becomes dimmer.
Your mind begins to close down as it allows sleep to take over.
The water is shimmering and glowing from the last of the sunset.
Your eyes are feeling heavy as you keep watching the sunset.
Sleep is close by and you try and stay awake but you feel so relaxed.
You feel so sleepy.
Your eyes feel so heavy.
You feel so peaceful.
There is a tiny bit of the sun left as your eyes are nearly closed.
The last piece of light glows softly with the night's darkness close behind.
You feel so sleepy now as you start to drift to sleep.
You are so relaxed.
So calm.
So peaceful.
The sun sets and the light flickers out and darkness envelops you.
Your mind is back with your body and you are peaceful in your bed.
You are so relaxed.
You are so sleepy.
You are so content.
You are ready for sleep.
You are ready to dream.
Slowly your mind closes down and you are ready to fall into a deep,
Deep,
Deep sleep.
You are ready to fall into a deep,
Deep sleep.
