Make yourself comfortable either lying down or sitting in a chair and close your eyes.
Take nice steady breaths as you bring yourself to a relaxing position.
Move your attention away from the stresses of the world and in your mind take yourself away to a place you love,
A place that brings you peace.
Don't worry if thoughts of the day come into your mind,
Just gently acknowledge them and allow them to float away.
This is your time,
Your time of peace.
Imagine yourself in your special place feeling relaxed and happy.
Really enjoy this calm and peaceful time.
Here there is only comfort and you feel content,
Secure and tranquil.
The time is your own and the thoughts you have are of only pleasant things which make your heart smile.
Allow your mind to wander over happy occasions,
Maybe with loved ones or something you love to do.
Spend a little time feeling that joy as you remember the fun you had and the excitement within you.
It's time to come back to your room.
Remember you can go back to your special place any time you wish.
Just a moment there refreshes you.
Be aware of the sound of my voice.
Be aware of the noises around you.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Allow the calmness to flow over you.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
