Ah,
All right.
So let's take a breath.
Now fresh air.
Connecting with the fundamental power of life cursing through you in the form of the breath.
Think about it as you breathe in and breathe out.
You're connecting with the most fundamental aspect of your being,
Which is the power to be alive.
Come from this inner rhythm of the breath.
This pulsation of receiving and releasing.
If this wouldn't happen,
There wouldn't be life in you.
You wouldn't be alive.
Nothing more sacred,
Right,
Than this rhythm.
So just for a moment,
Savor that energy,
That rhythm.
There's intelligence in it.
The breath can vary in so many ways.
And with any variation,
It affects your whole being.
So just the fact that you are becoming aware of it is affecting its flow,
And it's affecting your whole being.
Simple awareness of the breath.
Is there any part of your body that could soften,
That could release,
Any inner tightness that you can let go of so that the breath can flow more freely?
How's your jaw?
How's your tongue?
Can you feel your foundation,
The sitting bones grounding?
Can you feel the gentle expansion in your spine as you inhale?
And as you exhale,
A great opportunity to become more grounded,
More heavy,
As your breath becomes more tranquil,
As the breath naturally softens.
Notice your whole being also becoming more tranquil and soft,
And see if you can notice anything of you that might be agitated,
Anything that might be not tranquil,
And you locating your body if you feel any agitation or restlessness.
Can you just shine the light of your awareness without judgment on yourself?
Any area that feels tight or that feels unease,
And you just gently shine the light of your awareness with compassion,
Not wanting to make it go away,
But rather fully opening to experience,
Being intimate with whatever you're experiencing,
Without wanting to change it or go away,
Just savoring what is the experience of this moment?
And you still feel the gentle flow of the breath.
Can you soften even more deeply into that core where the breath is flowing,
As your core softens,
Your whole being,
Your whole body softens a little bit more?
How the breath really creates ripples onto your whole being?
As you follow the breath,
Notice inhalations and exhalations sometimes becoming shorter,
And maybe the pauses between the inhalation and exhalation becoming a little longer.
Moments of stillness naturally arising from the breath.
Settling into yourself.
Can you locate where in your body are you experiencing the breath right now?
And feel that subtle movement.
You might also at this point become aware of the pulsations of the heart,
That the breath becomes more and more subtle.
Notice this gentle process of releasing agitation and coming closer into stillness.
There is no doing,
There is only allowing.
Allow yourself to become still in the pulsation of the breath.
Allow yourself to become still.
Allow yourself to become still.
Allow yourself to become still.
